Chapter 3

Joseph yelled after me, "Hey! Aquafina, what the hell has gotten into you?" I started crying and hugged Joseph tightly. He was surprised, but stroked my hair and kissed my head, "Shhh, it's okay. I'm right here."

I sniffled and cried harder on him. He looked at me and asked, "Now, tell me, why were you upset?" I responded back sadly, "I'm not a man," and I pointed at the menu on the food truck.

He chuckled and got tingly around me, "I know you aren't. You're a pretty woman." I softly smiled at him and responded back to him, "And you're a handsome man." We looked in eachother's eyes and smiled brightly at eachother.

The blonde hair lady shouted to me, "Time for dinner!" I whispered to Joseph, "What is dinner?" Joseph responded back to me, "You don't know what dinner is?" I nodded in response, "Unknown." Joseph sighed, "It's your last meal of the day. Mainly composed of beef, steak, chicken, pork, etc."

I had no idea what any of that meant. I nodded and said to Joseph, "Bye," and went inside the blonde hair lady's car.

At the lady's house, I sat down at the dinner table and looked at the steak weirdly, "Pig?" The lady responded back to me, "Steak." She lifted up a bottle with red sauce inside and pointed at it, "A1." I grabbed the bottle from her and my steak was all drenched in the sauce.

The lady raised her eyebrows at me, "You're one interesting girl." I nodded and digested the whole steak in one bite.
