Chapter 16

I was literally in the middle of nowhere. I walked a dirt road not knowing where it leads to. I felt a tap on my shoulder and I looked behind me to see my father.

My father smirked and asked me, "Aquafina, why do you look so miserable?" I glared at him and responded back, "I just want to go back to Mars for 2 weeks." My father was shocked and played with my hair, "Okay, daughter."

Roger was observing Joseph's bed and criticized him, "Listen, man, you're very unorganized. The pillow is crooked, the very bottom sheet is showing, and the comforter isn't identical on both sides. You gotta do better, dude." Joseph rolled his eyes and laid on the bed sadly. Alex sat beside him and cuddled him, "Are you alright? Want a pudding?" Joseph started crying on Alex's chest and Alex was surprised. Alex tried comforting Joseph, "Everything will be okay. I promise you." Joseph nodded in tears and Alex gave Joseph a pudding to calm him down, "All you deserve is happiness, my guy. I'm sorry everything crashed down on you like this. Just don't do anything to yourself. I can't lose you. None of us can. I love you." Joseph looked down sadly, "I love you too, Alex, but I just need time to myself. I'm sorry for being a burden." Alex nodded in understanding and went to the living room to see Roger investigating the fan.

Alex and Rita investigated the fan too, while Joseph was in his bedroom having a mental breakdown. Rita tilted her head confused, "Why are we investigating this fan again?" Alex shrugged and offered Rita a chocolate pudding. Rita grabbed the pudding from Alex's hands and ate it while laughing at Roger. Roger scowled at Rita, "The spoon is crooked. I can see through you like a ghost, you're doing this to me on purpose and I hate it." Rita smirked and kissed Roger, "Was my kiss crooked or was it perfect, daddy?" Roger was irritated with her, "I am not your father!" Rita ruffled Roger's hair, "Have a sense of humor, dude. I'm just joking around."
