Chapter 4

While sleeping on this long square thing, Joseph was calling me. I picked up the phone and he said to me, "I miss you." I got teary-eyed and said back to him, "I-I miss you too." Wow, nobody has ever said that to me before. I'm shocked.

I felt the other side of the bed, which was empty, and I said to Joseph, "Can you come over?" He responded back, "On it," and he went in through the window of my bedroom, "Hey, are you okay?"

I nodded in an unsure way and patted the left side of the bed. He softly smiled and hopped on the left side. I smiled back and asked him, "Can I tell you something?" He nodded and turned towards me, "Go for it." I confessed to him, "I'm an alien." After I said that, he looked me at shocked, "Whoa..." I looked down, "I hope you're not mad at me for keeping it in for a long-," he placed his finger on my lips to shush me and kissed me. I pulled back from the kiss in surprise, "W-why did you do that?"

He smiled at me and stroked my hair again, "Because you're a fucking adorable alien. I love you no matter what. I don't care if you're from another planet, you're still the epitome of my happiness. You're still the reason I wake up everyday." I smiled at him. I didn't understand a single word he said, especially that "love" word.

He sensed that I was clueless of what everything he meant said and told me, "To make your life easier, I'm going to teach and show you everything you need to know in order to pass off as a human well." I beamed, "Exciting!" He giggled and kissed my cheek, "Goodnight, Aquafina." I looked in his eyes and responded back softly, "Goodnight, Joseph." Then we fell asleep.
