Chapter 20

A week after Joseph's recovery, Joseph and I moved into an apartment downtown together. I was cooking dinner for us, until Joseph went up to me, "Babe, you do so much." I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed his lips smiling, "I know, but I love you, so it doesn't matter."

Joseph pulled me closer to him, "How can I repay you, my love?" I smirked at him, "If you give me the best time of my life after dinner, then that's the only repayment I'll need." Joseph smiled and kissed me, "Sounds like a deal."

I smiled and finished cooking dinner for us. After eating dinner, Joseph dimmed the lights and I looked at him confused, "Why did you dim the lights, honey?" Joseph smiled and went down on one knee in front of me, "Aquafina, you make me the happiest man in the world. Will you be willing to let me be in your life forever?" I gasped in shock and nodded excitedly, "Yes, yes, yes, yes! You don't even have to ask, baby!" We smiled at eachother and made out. Joseph pulled away and bit his lip at me, "Engagement celebration upstairs- in bed?" I bit my lip back and nodded, as we ran up the stairs excitedly.

Anthony stood in front of Alex passive-aggressively and said to him cruelly, "Listen, man, you're weak and a nobody. If you work with me, you will be like a god that everyone praises. Are you down or are you too much of a coward?" Alex fiddled with his fingers nervously and gulped, "Ummm...yes, I will work with you." Anthony shoved Alex and smirked, "Good. See you tomorrow." Alex nodded in uncertainty and went to bed. Anthony smirked to himself and muttered, "Roger and Joseph, you have no idea what's coming your way, losers." He laughed maliciously and went back home.
