Sirius and Harry helped Ron out of the cave. Me and Hermione walked beside each other. As we walked down the cave, Hermione wraps up my hand.
"Sorry about the bite. I reckon that tinges a bit", Sirius said to Ron.
"A bit? A bit?! You almost tore my leg off!" Ron complained.
"I was going for the rat. Normally, I have a sweet disposition as a dog. In fact, for once, James suggested that I make the changes permanent. The tail, I could lead with, but the fleas, they're martyr".
We got out of the Whomping Willow. Ron sat on one of the tree's trunks. Hermione tended to his leg.
I waited for Pettigrew and Remus to get out of the hole. When they finally came, Pettigrew begged Ron and Hermione for help.
Pettigrew looked at me. "Irina Black, sweet girl, you wouldn't let them take me to the dementors, would you?" Pettigrew asked.
"Get away from me. You bit me. You probably have rabies", I said.
"I don't have rabies", Pettigrew said.
"Do too!"
"Do not!"
"Do too!"
"Do not!"
"DO TOO!"
"DO NOT!"
"Enough", Remus said. Remus pulled Pettigrew away from me. I looked at Pettigrew. I realized that he was the blonde man who appeared in my dreams.
I looked at Remus. "I've seen him before", I said.
"In your dream, right?" Remus asked. I nodded.
"Ah, I could give you whatever you want. A wand? How bout a new broom?" Pettigrew asked. His sharp nails sank into my left arm.
"Remember what I taught you", Remus said. I nodded.
I elbowed Pettigrew in the arm. I felt his fingers let go of my arm. "Bloody hell", Ron said as he looks at me with shock. I smiled with a shoulder shrug.
I looked at Remus. "I'm sorry. I should have trusted you", I said.
"Iris, there will be times in your life when you have to make hard decisions. Sometimes you have to trust your gut, but think about how your choices will effect your future", Remus said.
I was raised by good man, who is very kind and very wise. And he is a werewolf.
"Are you happy now that you know the truth?" Remus asked.
Honestly, I thought I would be happy, but now I was curious about so many other things about my past. Why was Sirius with Pettigrew and those 13 humans in the first place?
"I still have so many questions. I thought I would be satisfied with the truth, but there's endless questions in my mind", I said.
"Your father and I will answer them", Remus said.
"This whole time, I...I thought he abandoned me, but...he was taken from me because of Pettigrew", I said. I looked at Pettigrew with hatred and anger. "It was your fault". I pointed my wand at him.
"Harry!" Hermione shouted. Harry and Sirius looked at us. Hermione pointed at the moon.
I looked at the moon. It was full. I gasped. "It's a full moon", I said. I looked at Remus. "R-Remus?"
As the moon shined on him, Remus began his transformation. "Remus, my old friend, have you taken your potion tonight?" Sirius asked as he ran towards Remus. I stepped away to join Harry, Hermione and Ron. "You know the man you truly are, Remus! This heart is where you truly live! This heart here!"
