"Where's sis?"

"Jayla get the fuck off my phone with that shit"

"See you doing too much, where she at?"

"At her house, I don't fucking know"

"Bagged her yet?"

"No, I don't want that girl"

"Fifty dollars says you bag her within the next two months" with that Jayla hung up

She's been asking about Ja'Kiya since I introduced them to each other days ago. Nia's been asking as well whenever she sees me.

Pulling up to the trap I was greeted by Big Man the trap's doorman/bodyguard and Kd.

Dapping Kd I gave him a look questioning his whereabouts, he's been MIA for weeks.

"My momma been in the hospital, she has sickle cell I told you this shit. Somebody needed to stay home with my little brothers"

"She good?"

"Good enough to be back home" nodding he shrugs "what's been happening while I was gone?"

"Nothing too much, Aziel's lil sister beat the shit outta Jordan—"

"Why?"

"Remember that short brown girl we met at the park?"

"With the fat ass?"

"Chill" side eyeing him I nod reluctantly. "Jordan did her dirty, Aziel's sister and shawty best friends or whatever so she beat his ass"

"Damn"

"Aziel took over his territory later on that day"

"What's the girl name?"

"Aziel's sister's name is Leilani"

"No, the other one"

Ignoring him I walked away going into Aziel's office, sitting on his couch.

"You took care of the money problem already?" Aziel mumbles digging through his desk drawer with a blunt between his lips.

"Yeah, did you talk to Ja'Kiya's parents about the apartment?"

"Mhm, they said no" shrugging with a nod he pulled out a lighter after a few minutes of digging, he lit the end of his blunt.

"That's stupid as hell"

"Zed, she's suicidal—"

"So what? She's attempted in the same house she shares with her parents and they didn't do shit to prevent it. The way I see it y'all need to let that girl get her own shit, y'all're probably the reason she wants out so bad. Find her a roommate if y'all so worried"

"Watch yourself Zed"

"I don't mean no disrespect but how long do you think y'all can continue to treat her like a child before she snaps and cuts y'all out of her life? Give her a bit of freedom to do whatever"

"I'll talk it over with her mom"

"Aziel?" Kd calls popping his head into the room, gaining our attention he asks. "what's yo sister's best friend's name?"
