It's been three weeks since Zed and I had a heated encounter, and he hasn't responded to any of my messages or answered my calls.

So I left him and the situation alone after the third time he ignored my call, I would hate to look like I'm begging somebody for their time and attention.

Lani has been coming over to Yaze and I's apartment every day so I had no reason to go over to her house and possibly run into Zed these past few weeks.

"Kiya, I'm heading to Aziel's house you coming?" Yaze says stepping into my doorway. "Lani isn't coming over today"

Well damn

"Mm maybe later, I'm not sure yet"

"Alright, you need anything before I go?"

"Nope, I'm good"

"Call me if you need anything" giving a stern look he nods and walks away

Sitting in front of Lani's house I spoke to Jayla quietly on the phone.

"It'll be fun, Jay please" I sigh running my hand through my hair

"Girl no, that sounds boring as hell"

"Well, can I take Nia?"

"You gotta ask my mama or Zed"

"I got better luck asking the universe to see a pig fly"

Laughing Jayla mumbles she has to get to class before ending the call. Groaning I got out of my car hearing my stomach growl at the smell of chicken being fired a few houses away.

Stepping into the house I closed the door greeting the group of guys in the living room glancing at them briefly and going into the kitchen.

"Y'all don't ever cook"

"I would've if I knew you were coming" Aziel shrugs coming into the kitchen and pulling me into a hug. "how you feeling? You keep disappearing and showing up weeks later like some damn-"

"I've been enjoying my apartment, you can come over anytime you know"

"That's bullshit, every time I pull up you don't be there"

"...Well then maybe you should call first"

"Just bring yo ass back around here from time to time"

"I'll think about it"

"Why are you on my bestie?" Lani mugs Aziel as she steps into the kitchen. "didn't I tell you to stop tryna get with her?"

"Mind yo business" waving her off he met my gaze brushing his thumb against my cheek softly with one hand and the other rubs circles into my hip. "just stop by once in a while"

"Kiya" Lani warns crossing her arms

"Okay " rolling my eyes I moved to sit at the kitchen table. "I'm not interested in your brother"

"I can't tell" sitting beside me she stared at me briefly before looking away. "what happened with you and blue eyes?"

"He's ignoring me" shrugging I didn't care much for the subject. "I just came to see you and to tell you I'm going to take music seriously now. Kentrell has been blowing my phone up for beats and I realized so have a lot of people so yeah. I'll be both behind the mic and the keyboards so you'll get music from me more often"
