Then next morning, Brian's poodle hair was back. Him and Roger were eating breakfast when you woke up and came into the kitchen. Freddie and John were still sleeping.

"Brian?" Roger asked.

"Hm?"

"Have you ever been in love?"

"Where did that come from?

"Well have you?"

"That's a stupid question, haven't you?."

"Of course I have, but have you?"

"Well same answer for me then."

"What's that?"

"Yes, I have."

Roger chuckled, then turned to you.

"What about you, love?" He asked.

"What?" You hadn't really been paying attention.

"Have you ever been in love?"

"Not really, no."

"I find that hard to believe."

"I just don't really believe in love. That's all."

Your answer appalled both Brian and Roger.
You weren't hungry even though you just woke up, so you started writing and then you were in your own little world.

"Now that we're telling secrets." Brian exclaimed, his voice quieted down.

"We are?" Roger asked, confused on how Brian got that.

"Want to know something funny?"

"Always."

Then before another word, Brian half smiled, turned to you, chuckled then looked back at Roger.

"I am head over heels in love with that girl." Brian thought. "And she doesn't even believe in love."

Then there was an awkward silence.

"Well?" Roger asked, waiting for Brian to say something funny since Brian only said it inside his head.

"Forgot."

*time skip*

You were with Brian, brushing your teeth as he was in the bathroom.

Jeez, his arms are long.

You grasped the edge of the sink with two hands, and bent over to spit out your toothpaste. As you bent over, Brian couldn't help but look at your butt, you knew you were in a racy angle and you knew it was bad but did all the right things. When you looked at him through the mirror he noticed and looked away, and made eye contact with himself through the mirror.

Okay. I can't keep doing this shit.

"Brian?" You asked, with your now empty mouth.

Brian quickly spit his toothpaste out to respond to you.

"Yes?"

There's never going to be a right time to say this. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit.

"Nothing can happen between us." You exclaimed, quickly and firmly. "I have my job, and it's restricted. Now-"

"Okay." He cut you off, shrugging.

You were shocked and sort of disappointed on how not-bummed he was.

"What?" You asked, not sure if you heard him right.

"Okay." He repeated. "I get it, and I'm not too sure why we're having this conversation again. But okay."
