After the god awful pizza lunch, you were all back to where you were staying.

"Does anyone want to go back out?" Freddie asked, clearing wanting to go back out. "Deacy?" He asked, looking at Deacy.

"Hm?" John asked, he had been zoning out. "Oh, no, thank you."

"Y/n?" Freddie asked, pointing at you.

"I'd love to." You exclaimed. "But I can't, sorry, I have to get these-" You were about to explain that you had to clean up your writing but you couldn't because you heard Brian mumble something.

"That's a surprise..." Brian said, under his breath.

"I'm sorry, what?" You asked, turning towards him and furrowing your eyebrows.

"Nothing it's just....never mind."

"No, please. Tell me."

Brian turned towards Freddie.

"Fred, just a little advice; she can't. She never can."

"What?" Freddie asked, confused on why you two were arguing the way you were.

"Brian, stop it." You said, trying to get his glance back on you.

"All I'm saying, Mrs. 'I'd love to but,' is that you shouldn't lead people on."

"Excuse me?"

"You lead Freddie on at the start, but you soon after said 'I can't'."

"Where is this coming from?"

"If you can't go out with Freddie then you should've just said no to begin with. You think you want to go out with him, but as soon as you realize you're scared to go out with Freddie with quickly make up the excuse not to, using your job."

"Maybe I'm just tired of Fred not listening to the statement of my work prohibiting my actions with him."

Brian looked at you, mad and upset looking like he wanted to punch his hand through a wall. Roger and John were next to each other, watching this soap opera sounding argument with shook looks on their faces as Freddie was standing by the coffee table with his hands on his hips, wondering what just happened and if anyone will go out with him.

Just saying, you two weren't talking about going out with Freddie.

*time skip*

You were on the balcony of your room, overlooking the city lights and having a cigarette.

Life sucks.

You thought about your argument with Brian and how you couldn't tell who was being more ridiculous. You or him. In your defense, you did have reason why you couldn't be with him, but in his defense, you were getting awfully close at times.

"Need some company?" John asked, peaking his head through the door.

"Hm?" You asked, coming back to reality and turning your head around to see who was there. "Oh, hi, Deacy." You said, turning back around. "Yes, please. Sit." You invited.

You heard him sit down on the chair next to you, before you asked him if he wanted a smoke, he answered yes.

"So are you having trouble?" He asked, knowing the answer but wanting to see if you answered truthfully.

Yes.

"I'm fine, really." You answered, not giving your true answer as he expected you would.

"Were you really arguing about Freddie back there?"

"I doubt it'd make a difference."

"I think it would."
