You raced out of the apartment building, the fresh, warm, July air hitting your shoulders and its breeze flowing in between your legs. You noticed the traffic, the lights of the town, and the chatter amongst the people walking the streets. You needed a breather and the worst part is you couldn't even figure out why. You were about to cry of frustration and you didn't even know what you were frustrated about. You weren't in control, you didn't know a way to make yourself feel better because you couldn't figure out what problem needed to be resolved, you didn't even understand what "the problem" was. You started looking around for a cab, having a mini-panic attack as you put your hand on your chest to try and calm yourself.
"Y/n." You heard John say from behind you, and you heard his footsteps getting closer.
"What is happening?" You asked him, trying to keep your breath under control as he turned you around to face him.
"You're freaking out." He stated, holding your arms in place to try and get you to stay still. "Breathe." He told you, taking deep breaths, intimating you to follow his breathing.
"Deacy, you don't get it."
"I think I do."
"No, I'm in love with Ollie but-"
"But you need closure with Brian."
"I don't know what to do."
"Start by accepting what this situation is."
"No, but I hate him."
"You say that but-"
"No, I do."
"Y/n, breathe."
"I can't. I feel like I'm crawling out of my skin, you don't get it-"
"You need to go to sleep."
"On the sidewalk?"
"Come on, I'm taking you back to Roger's."
"No, you need to stay for your friend's party. What if he needs someone?"
"Freddie and Roger are usually his 'someone''s. And besides, you're my friend, too."
*time skip*
You woke up the next day, to Ollie shaking you awake.
"Hey, dear." He said, softly, once you opened your eyes.
"Hi." You softly said back.
"I'm feeling better, and I think it's almost time to go to the studio."
Fuck my life.
You and Ollie stepped outside of the room, once you got dressed, to see Roger pouring himself a cup of coffee.
"One more." You groaned, telling him to make another cup for you, raising your hand as you walked over to sit down on his couch.
"Where'd you go last night?" Roger asked whilst getting another cup for you out of the cupboard.
"Just here." You shrugged. "I wanted to get back to Ollie." That wasn't even true. You lied right to Roger's face.
"I saw Brian follow you last night." He smirked, looking at you, and once you looked back he raised his eyebrows three times.
"No, you didn't."
"Yeah, I did."
"Nope. Not me."
Then Ollie came out of the guest room, and whatever Roger was about to say became non-existent. He brought you your coffee, and there was a wave of silence.
