This world, [Y/N] decided, was dreadful.
For a week now, she'd been forced to do nothing but boring tasks and ridiculously easy training. She couldn't decide what was the worst: having to tame down her capacities or cleaning the horse stables.
Unsurprisingly, the Lance Corporal had been very harsh on her. It was like he was trying to find a weakness to her, something he could exploit to convince himself she wasn't perfect, but alas it was without success. No matter what he told her to do, she would be done with it quickly and efficiently, without ever breaking a sweat. It was driving him nuts.
On the other hand though, since she was from outside, [Y/N] had spent a lot of time in the Commander's office everyday. She had been honest and told him she wasn't sure to be from the same universe altogether, but instead of discouraging the man, it only drove his passion for the unknown ever farther. Erwin was determined to get to the bottom of things, and he made sure to always be disponible to her at any time.
For the training part, the honorary phantom troupe member was getting used to the 3dm gear, doing hand to hand combat and average workout to "keep her body strong and capable". It was almost sad, really, watching all those good and honest people work their hardest for what they believed in. She didn't have the heart to tell them about nen yet, or about how easy all the exercises were for her; hell the gear even slowed her down. Back in her own world, Hisoka had the habit of making her go through training that would no doubt instantly kill everyone in the survey corps. Needless to say, everyone here was greatly impressed with her, for better or for worst.
"[Y/N]!" a familiar voice called out. "Come here!"
Turning around on the training field, she turned around to meet the gaze of none other than Hange Zoe. She made her way to them, curious.
"Good morning Hange," she greeted. "What can I help you with?"
"You've got to meet with Erwin, Levi and I," informed the goggled squad-leader. "We need to talk to you about the next expedition."
[Y/N] could feel their aura shifting from a neutral tone to a dark, serious one.
"Very well then, lead the way."

When they got to Erwin's office, the ambiance was almost grim. All of them seated themselves, as if preparing to announce something, making [Y/N] more than a little confused. While his subordinates were looking away, the commander had the decency of making eye-contact with her.
"Care to explain what's going on? What about the next expedition?"
The blond man sighed, putting his elbows on his desk. "After deliberation, I've decided to not let you come with us in the next outing."
The information took a second to get to the young woman's head, but when it did, her eyes widened.
"Excuse me?"
"[Y/N]. You are an outstanding trainee, but I cannot, in good conscience, let you come-"
"Are you kidding me? I've beat your best soldier, what more do you want?" she exclaimed, raising her voice.
"Listen here, brat," interjected Levi from his seat. "It takes more than a single fight to determine your skills. You've never been out there. You haven't seen a titan in your life. You'll have a month of training on your hands, you wouldn't stand a chance."
"Wouldn't stand a chance?" She mimicked in anger, trying to restrain her bloodlust from seeping out. "I think you're forgetting who you're speaking to, pipsqueak. You have no idea what I can do."
