The next morning I woke up by a deafening sound, reminiscent of a knock on the door. My presumption was soon confirmed by a new and now louder knock.

"Yeah? Come in!" I shouted without even caring who was at the door

Slowly I opened my eyes, which had to get used to the bright sunlight. I was still so tired that I lacked any orientation. Suddenly I noticed that I wasn't lying in Ginny's bed as usual. I slowly sat up and took a glance at the door, which now swung open. It was Draco who appeared behind the door and came into the room, smiling. I looked at him in amazement and blinked in disbelief.

"Draco?" I asked, still confused.

"Well, good morning to you too, Y/N!" he laughed.

"My father told me that he saw someone wandering through our house yesterday. He then gave you a guest room, since you were probably quite drunk. He's never done that before, which is why I'm a bit surprised. I knew he meant you right away. His description suited you, apart from the fact that it could only have been you. I didn't see you last night after your dance battle and I didn't expect you to leave without saying goodbye. Anyway, I think I won the bet." he said with a broad grin.

Damn! I remembered what happened yesterday. I lost my virginity to Draco's father, to Lucius Malfoy. I still couldn't believe it really happened. And now Draco thought I was far more drunk than he was. However, I knew I would have won for sure if I hadn't run into his father. As much as I would have liked to rub my real victory in his face, I definitely couldn't tell him the truth. I mean, I slept with his father. And he pretended not to know me in front of Draco. In a way, it hurt me, although I knew there would have been a strange situation if Draco knew I'd already met his father.

"Well, Draco. Maybe I'm still here because I'm just a gorgeous person. And regarding our bet, I admit you won. But gambling debts are known as debts of honour and I have absolutely no objection to settling my debts." I gave him a determined look while a mischievous smile danced on my lips.

Draco sat down on the bed without being asked twice and leaned forward to me to pick up his winnings. We kissed passionately until I suddenly noticed the presence of a person in the doorway. I broke away from the kiss in shock and looked in the direction of the door to see who was bothering us at that moment.

"Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't want to disturb you." the person apologized with a sweet laugh.

Narcissa Malfoy! How wonderful... Never before had I seen this woman and I'm directly screwing up her first impression of me.
I could feel myself blushing. I was clearly uncomfortable that Narcissa Malfoy met me this way.

"Mother!" Draco was visibly startled by her presence and rolled now his eyes, annoyed.

Completely perplexed, I stood up and walked towards her. I was trying to save what was already lost.

"Forgive me, I wish I could have spared you this embarrassing moment. That's definitely not the best way to get to know someone... Whatever. My name is Y/N/L and it's an honor to meet you, Mrs Malfoy!" I smiled awkwardly and stretched out my hand to her, in the hope she would accept it and my first impression would not be too bad anymore. To my surprise, she shook her head and hugged me instead of shaking my hand I held out to her.

"Don't worry about what I just saw. I was young once, too. And by the way, a kiss can't hurt." She said laughing as she released our embrace.

I just looked at her startled, unable to believe how warmly she welcomed me. She was very different from what she appeared in public and from what was told about her. I never expected such a warming hug, especially not after seeing me kissing her son. I was a complete stranger to the Malfoys and yet she was so relaxed about it.
