Chapter 38

I sat in the holding cell all day. I decided to call Matt.
"Hello?"
"Hey babe its Emma."
"Where were you today. Why weren't you at school? I missed you."
"I got arrested."
"Wait? What! What happened?"
"I got in a fight with Max and his parents are pressing charges."
"How much is bail."
"$500."
"Babe and I'm on my way."
"Please don't tell Cameron."
"I won't."
"I will pay you back the money I promise."
"Don't worry about it."
Matt came and bailed me out. They un-cuffed me and he drove me home.
"I have tryouts tonight if you wanna come."
"I don't wanna make you nervous, and I'm going out to dinner with my family."
"Oh, Thank you for bailing me out I will pay you back every penny."
"Emma don't worry about it."
He dropped me at my house.
"Bye Matthew."
"Bye Emma"
I opened the door and went inside and got ready for my tryout.
"Cameron you gotta promise not to be mad at me."
"Emma. What did you do."
"I got arrested. I beat up Max."
"Oh my god. why didn't you call me."
"Because I was scared you would flip out on me."
He pulled me into a hug.
"I would never flip out on you. Thank you for telling me the truth."
"Can you drive me to the tryout?"
"Yeah sure."
We drove to the studio and I got ready I stretched and met up with Kat.
We did some more warm ups and then we did across the floor work.
Nina showed us a routine and we practiced it. Then we did it in small groups. I was with Cassie, Lauren, Kat and Logan.
We finished the routine and sat on the chairs and watched everybody else.
Nina and the other supervisor Andrea came out.
"Congrats to group 3: Emma, Katrina, Logan, Lauren and Cassie." Nina said.
She handed us our uniforms and cheer bows practice is tomorrow at 4:00 till 7:00 wear anything that is comfy.
"Congrats girls see Ya tomorrow."
We walked in the change room and got ready.
"See you tomorrow." I said.
I left the studio and walked home.
It looked like all the boys had come over.
I knocked on the door since it was locked and I left my keys in my backpack.
"Cam its Emma open up."
*no answer*
"Matt are you in there. If you are open the door."
*no answer*
"Guys open up its cold."
*no answer*
This was last resort.
"Ahhhhhh." I girl screamed.
"Oh my god babe are you okay." Matt exclaimed.
"Yeah I'm really cold thank to you idiots."
He pulled me into a hug.
"Cameron left to get the pizza and said not to answer the door."
"Very funny."
"It was."
We walked in the house.
"So did you get in?" Aaron asked.
"How did you know I was trying out?"
"Matt told us."
"I got in."
"Yassss" They screamed.
"What's all the commotion about?" Cameron asked.
"I made the team."
"That's amazing."
"Well I'm exhausted I'm going to sleep."
"Night Emma." the boys said in unison.
"Night babe." Matt said.
"Night sis."
"Night." I replied.
I got upstairs and jumped in my bed and fell asleep
