The Third Strand//9-1-1 lonestar x Reader

𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞

"Austin FD! Open up! Got anything from Dispatch?" Owen yelled knocking on the door

"They're supposed to be en route from dinner,but nobody can get ahold of them,so we got Animal Control coming."

"All right, take it." Cap told TK and y/n who forced the door open

"All right, let's find this nursery. Ok Paul y/n,Mateo,you guys look upstairs.Watch your step.We're dealing with a 5-foot rattlesnake here."

The three walked upstaurs and into the nursery and saw the baby in the crib crying

"You haven't seen a big scary snake around, have you?" Mateo said

he set what he had in his hands down and went towards the crib and picking the baby up. Y/n smiled at him for a second before returning to what she was doing

"Is he hurt?" Paul asked

"Check for swelling or puncture wounds." Y/n said

"Nah, I'm pretty sure he just hates me. But I think he pooped." Mateo explained

"whoa!" Y/n yelled as a snake slivered over her foot quickly she backed down to safety and placed a container over it

"Finn!" The mom ran in

"He's okay.He's stinky, but he's okay." Mateo explained

"Thank you so much." The dad shook Mateo's hand

"Sir,I wouldn't come any closer." Y/m told him as he stoked towards the snake

"Where's Danielle?" The mom asked

"Where's your laundry?" Paul questioned

"The basement."

"Cap." Paul spoke into his radio

"Stay here" Mateo told y/n "keep the snake there"

"Mate-" She began but they left

"Y/n?" Tk yelled up the stairs

"Nursery, I need help getting this snake out"  She yelled back

"C'mon,it has to be The Ring Two or Final Destination 2 or The Grudge 3." Mateo stated

"Man,those are some weak choices." Paul told him

"Worst sequels of all time?" TK asked

"The scariest movies of all time." Y/n told him

"All right, everyone knows that the scariest movies are the ones where the monsters are inside of you." Paul said "The Shining. Dude was crazy."

"Or The Exorcist where the demon's inside." Judd said

"Rosemary's Baby? Devil baby?" Marjan asked

"Yes."

"Cujo." Mateo said

"Nah, bro." Paul told him

"How about a quiet place, y'all wouldnt last a second in that movie" Y/n chuckled

The group looked behind them as they heard a dog barking

"I mean, that is a fine looking animal." Judd said

"Everybody, say hello to the newest member of the 126.Buttercup." Cap smiled

"No way! You mean we get to keep it?" Mateo asked "Finally, I outrank someone."

"Oh yeah, you think he's gonna follow you around and clean up after you?" Judd asked

"Good point." Mateo said
