"How bad is it?" Tommy said as they stood up watching cap walk out of the building

"Not great." He kept facing forward as he walked

"Did they can you?" Mateo gripped onto y/n's hand anxiously

"Suspended." They followed him

"For how long?" Y/n looked at him worried for what was to be of their firehouse

"Unclear."

"What about us?" Paul asked the question on all of their minds

"For the time being, they'd like you to stay in your temporary assignments permanently."

"Permanently?" Marjan questioned "I-I don't understand. So they're really not gonna reopen the 126th?"

"Not only are they not opening, but they've red-tagged the building for demolition." Owen told them, you could probably hear their hearts collectively shattering at the news "They're tearing it down."

"They can't do that." Y/n looked at him hoping that he was just bluffing and he'd soon say "just kidding" but that never came

"They're the city. They can do whatever they want" Nancy reminded

"Wow. So it's really over then." Mateo sighed

"You kidding me? This isn't the end." Cap stopped walking and looked at him as they stopped as well "This isn't even the beginning of the end."

"Is it the middle?" Mateo asked in all seriousness

"They knock us down seven times, we get back up eight." Owen reminded them

"That's right." Tommy agreed as she crossed her arms over her chest smiling

"The 126 is our home. We built it together, we're gonna fight for it together, like a family." He got them to perk up a bit

"As a family." Marjan agreed

"That's right, Captain." Paul nodded

"These people have zero idea who they are up against." Cap continued

"No, they really don't." Tommy shook her head

"So we fight, we're gonna keep fighting. And we never give up... until hell freezes over."

"You've reached Judd, you know what to do."

"Abandoners." Marjan stated seeing as nobody but y/n had picked up her phone call, speaking of the girl she had just walked up to marjan and just on time too

"All right, everybody stand back, we're ready to get started. Okay, Marty, knock it down."

"Screw it." Marjan looked at y/n who nodded, the two began walking towards the building in front of the wrecking ball about to tear down their home once again

"Hey, what you doin'?"

"Oh, not this again. Call the cops."

"Stand down, Marty. Stand down."

Marjan reached into her pocket and grabbed two sets of handcuffs and they then cuffed themselves to the firehouse

"Look, ladies, the cops are already on their way, all right?" One of the men walked up to them "We don't want any trouble."

"The thing is, trouble, is exactly why we came." Y/n nodded as marjan took her phone out

"What's up, people? Hey, it's your girl, Firefox, coming to you live from the 126 with y/n." She faced the camera towards the other girl who was handcuffed "I know most of you know that my team has tried everything to save this firehouse. But today is D-Day, so we are not just going to the wall, were chaining ourselves to it."
