Jungkook was meeting with his mom today to go to therapy. She wouldn't be in the meeting, but she vowed to take him every time as support. Jungkook spotted her and ran up to her giving her the biggest hug. It had been two days since he confessed to Taehyung and found out about what he did. After that he's been feeling very off, but he just hoped his mom wouldn't notice.

"Hello sweetie. What's with the face?"

Of course she could tell.

"Did something happen? If someone hurt you, you know I have a blank belt in an unspecified martial art." She holds her hands up in a fighting stance and softly pats Jungkook's back. Jungkook smiles for the first time that day.

"It's nothing mom, just something at school." She looks at Jungkook with a raised eyebrow. She knew he was lying and Jungkook could tell. Jungkook waited with dread for the questions, but nothing came. She gave him a sad smile and put her arm around his back.

"You can tell me later. Right now you have your first meeting with your therapist." She probably couldn't tell, but Jungkook was so thankful she hadn't prodded for questions.

Therapy wasn't as bad as he thought it would be. He got to talk out his problems and what was on his mind while receiving professional help. By the time it was over Jungkook's chest felt a little bit lighter.

As he stepped out of the room he saw someone familiar outside waiting.

"Jin!" Jungkook called out and walked over to where Jin was standing. Jin gave him a smile and a hug. "What are you doing all the way out here?"

Jin smiled, "I'm here for therapy, you too?"

"Yes! What a coincidence," Jungkook said with a smile. He hadn't seen Jin in a while and it was nice to see a familiar face. Jin looked down at his phone briefly.

"Oh, I've got to go, but it was nice seeing you. Bye!" Jin waved before walking into another room. Jungkook left the building and saw his mom.

"I'll keep going mom." She smiled.

"Thank god you're finally listening to reason."

It had been five days since Taehyung told him about what happened at the party. He had received countless calls on the first two days, but as the days progressed and each call was ignored they died down and had finally stopped completely. Jungkook assumed Taehyung understood that it would be Jungkook's choice if they were to talk again.

"Whatever," Jungkook said under his breath as he texted Taehyung.

Jungkook: Meet me in front of my dorm building in 5 mins

Taehyung replied immediately.

Taehyung: I'll see you in 5 mins

Jungkook waited outside and at exactly 5 mins Jungkook could see Taehyung sprinting over before starting to slow down as he was a block away. When they were finally in front of each other Jungkook felt the intense need to bolt right back into his dorm. It all felt like too much, there were too many emotions and even after five days he hadn't processed them. He was still angry with Taehyung, but he still liked him. The emotions he felt after Taehyung told him had barely subsided. He just needed to meet one more time so he could say his piece. It was killing him to leave Taehyung in the dark no matter how much Taehyung had hurt him.

"Please Jungkook let me explain myself. Please."

"Just tell me what you want to say."

"Okay. It was a week after you fell into a coma and I was feeling depressed and guilty. Some guy invited me to a party they were having and like an idiot I accepted. I just wanted a distraction from everything that was happening in my life. I got really drunk and a guy dragged me to a room and we started to make out. My mind was a mess and I could barely think straight, but in the haze I could see your face and you looked so disappointed and I left. It was an accident and I swear that nothing like that will ever happen again. It's okay if you still don't forgive me. I understand." He went silent after that, allowing Jungkook to think things over.

Jungkook looked at Taehyung and said, "I don't forgive you."

There was a pang in Taehyung's chest, but he didn't let it show.

"But that doesn't mean I never will. I just need time to process everything. Let me think this through and then I'll call you and tell you if this relationship is possible."

Jungkook turned away and walked back into the building, not waiting a second more. Taehyung looked at Jungkook's back until the door closed behind him. He remembered singing karaoke with Jungkook and how much fun it was. It scared him the amount of fun he had. His chest hurt again.
