The Blind Date Vkook/Taekook

Chapter Two

{Taehyung's POV}

"Oh...um yea it's me" the boy in front of me said meekly.
So now I'm gonna have to deal with him the entirety of the school year. This is great, just great.

I'm not gonna lie he's a little cute, but our "date" this past summer was very painful to say the least. I mean, we didn't exactly click.

My mind couldn't help but bring back the memories I've been suppressing this whole time. I really don't want to remember it. The memories start flooding my mind, fogging up any thoughts or plans I had before this. As the events of this summer rush into my head.

Flashback~

I had been told by my friends Suga and Namjoon that they had found this really cool guy that they knew from their boyfriends Jimin and Jin who was a good option if I ever felt like getting into a relationship. Little did I know that it would be the most awkward encounter I've experienced in my entire life. They described him as a silly person who loved making people laugh. They said he was sweet and caring but also super cute.

He seemed like the perfect guy.

I'm not really the type to freeze up or be shy around new people so I just thought "what's the harm in trying".

Little did I know.

I knew Jin and Jimin pretty well and if this Jungkook guy was as nice as they said he was I'd believe it.

The day of the date I wasn't really nervous. I took a long shower and put on the nicest clean clothes I had. Which ended up being a black and white polka dot collared shirt paired with an all black suit jacket with regular black pants. I had later styled my dirty blond hair so that it lay resting just above my eyes.

"Looking good" I said as I admired my handsome face and my smooth tan skin shimmering from the shower I took.

My friend J-Hope walked in on me admiring myself in the mirror and whistled "I hope he doesn't faint from your sexiness" he said jokingly.

"Ha ha very funny J" I said glaring at him.

This isn't such a big deal. I wonder why J-Hope thought it was. "It's probably nothing" I said to myself quietly.

"Stop making such a big deal about it okay" I say to him while rolling my eyes for him to see.

After that he stayed silent and walked away from my room looking a little angry. Whatever. He'll get over it, he always does. 

Last but not least I put on a musky cologne that smelled strongly of the woods. It was my favorite cologne and I wore it almost everyday. It seemed like it was about to waste. I had decided to buy some more after this whole thing was over.

After putting on my Oaky cologne running shoes and Gucci watch I was finally done getting ready.

Too bad I had no idea where we were going on our date. All I knew was that it was dinner at some semi-fancy restaurant. Namjoon and Jin came in to give me some pointers like I had never went on a date before.

"You guys are aware that I've dated before this, right?

They just rolled their eyes and Jin said "yea you have, but most of them were girls and guys who were head over heels in love with you who might I add you threw away like last night's trash. Jungkook doesn't know you and he's not an idiot okay."
"Yea yea I got it Momma I won't break his heart, don't worry" I said as a child would.
Honestly Jin is such a worrywart
sometimes.

"How would I break this kid's heart in the span of one date"

He replied with a "Trust me you would
find a way."

I listened to what he had to say because at the end of the day he knew a lot more about this Jungkook character than I did.

Some of the "tips" included; not being a douchebag, listening to what he has to say, of course not breaking his heart, being a gentleman, never interrupting him, and a whole lot more that could fit a long long list. After about 10 minutes I stopped listening and zoned out thinking about how Jungkook might look.

I didn't have much to base it on except for his name so all I came up with was "from a beautiful country" which isn't much to go on. So I left it for our actual meeting to judge his appearance and personality.

I think I fell asleep during Jin's long lecture about "being a gentleman" because I found myself being awoken by Namjoon snapping his fingers in my face and whispering "better pay attention or you'll never hear the end of it".

With that I stood up straight, faced forward at Jin, and listened intently on what he had to say. It finally ended on him saying "and last but not least do NOT break his heart he's still too innocent for this world and I don't want someone like you to jade him".

"What do you mean someone like me" I said.

"I mean that you're a guy who cares more about how someone looks than their personality".

"Oooo Momma Jin is roasting yooouuuuu" J-Hope said suddenly forcing himself into the conversation. I swear I was about to murder him but he left too quickly before I could grab him. "Lucky bastard" I said under my breath but walked away to say goodbye to everyone and lastly find out where I needed to go for the date. I found out it wasn't too too far away from the house but decided to drive anyway because I'm lazy.

"Wish me luck everyone" I said while walking out and heard a couple goodbyes coming from the other room.

This was it. This was the moment that would alter my life forever. The day I met him. For the better or for the worse, it happened.

I arrived at the place and saw that my date had already been there. He looked gorgeous or stunning you might say. He had chocolate colored eyes and soft brown hair that made me want to reach out and caress it while spontaneously making out with him. What is wrong with me? I literally haven't met him yet and I already want to kiss his adorable face. Either way I wasn't regretting my decision one bit.

Soon I realized that I would regret ever coming here tonight.
