You, once again, find yourself sitting on the couch, silently drumming your fingers against your thigh. Baekhyun had left a little while ago to go collect whatever he needed from the apartment and bring it back to the dorms, and you stayed behind to give him some space while he did it, but you also had some unfinished business here to take care of.

You felt bad that Baekhyun was giving you the apartment in the meantime, but he had suggested it and then reassured you it was okay multiple times before he left. Truthfully, you were relieved and happy that Baekhyun was doing this because that place was home to you, and you couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

You glance around the room, taking in the signs of the boy's daily lives. Most of them had their own places to stay, but the dorms were kind of a catch-all. It was a place where they could meet, hang out, and crash when they were too tired to drive all the way home.

You had spent quite a lot of time here during the duration of your relationship with Baekhyun, and even before when you were just friends with Sehun. You had found love here, tried your first attempt at baking here, and had even been here cheering with the boys when Baekhyun had made his solo debut. You had experienced a lot of things within the walls of this dorm room, and you wouldn't trade it for the world.

"Hey... You're still here?"

Chanyeol's deep voice snaps you out of your thoughts and you turn your head to see him standing at the edge of the hallway. "Yeah, I'm just... waiting..."

Chanyeol nods as he walks over to where you're at and plops down on the couch next to you. It's quiet for a minute before he carefully asks, "Which one are you waiting for?"

You cringe at his question, even though Chanyeol doesn't hold any judgment in his tone. Why did it make you feel weird? What was it about that question that made you feel like you needed to do some serious self-reflecting?

"Um..." you clear your throat. "Both, actually..."

While it was true you had stayed behind so Baekhyun can grab whatever he wants in peace, you also stayed behind because you needed to talk to Sehun. Baekhyun wasn't the only person on your list that you had to sit down and have a serious discussion with. You had decided you needed space from Sehun as well, and you were sticking to that... especially after what you witnessed earlier.

"You don't think they're going to do any serious harm to each other, do you?" you suddenly ask him while thinking about how the two of them aren't getting along.

Chanyeol lets out a small laugh at your worried tone. "They're big boys. They'll be fine."

Chanyeol's words do little to comfort you, and you decide that you'd rather focus on literally anything else than waiting. You turn your body towards him and ask, "How come you're still up?"

The rest of the members had all quickly decided to pass out after leaving you and Baekhyun to talk. They all finally gave in to the exhaustion from staying up all night dealing with this stupid drama and went to their rooms, except for Chanyeol, apparently.

"I... just had some things on my mind..."

"Would you like to talk about those things?" you gently ask.

Chanyeol remains quiet long enough that you assume the answer to your question is no, so you let it go and go back to drumming your fingers on your thigh. It's quiet for another minute or so before Chanyeol finally speaks up, but his voice is so low, you're almost not even sure you hear him right.

"How is she doing?"

Your fingers immediately cease the drumming, and you look over at Chanyeol, who quickly avoids your gaze. You knew he was talking about Miyoung, but you were surprised he was asking... It was him, after all, who asked you not to talk about her when he was around...
