Regret: Side Story

J-Hope had a huge crush on his senior Yoongi. Despite showing cold attitude, Yoongi too care for J-Hope. Yoongi's parents were extremely rich and had high expectation from him. But Yoongi was not interested in family business but wanted to open his own cafe. J-Hope had a very fun personality even though he was not that rich but his family always support him. At first, it was a crush but slowly J-Hope deeply falls in love with Yoongi. Yoongi was still hesitated to accept that his heart feels something for J-Hope. It was the day J-Hope confessed his feelings for Yoongi. Yoongi was alone at his classroom.

J-Hope after lots of encouraging himself," Umm I have something to say to you."
Yoongi knew what was J-Hope going to say because it was already knowned to whole university about J-Hope crushed on Yoongi.
Yoongi," What?"
Slowly..everyone was entering the class.
J-Hope," May be later."
Yoongi ," Just tell me now."

Soon whole classroom was full of students.
Yoongi," What are you so shy about just tell me you like me?"
J-Hope surprisingly ," You knew?"
Yoongi," Did you think I'm stupid?..Everyone in this university knew about you."
J-Hope," Then what do you wanna say?"
Yoongi," If you shouted loudly and tell everyone that you like me I would give you an interesting answer."
J-Hope excitingly," Really?"
Yoongi nodded.

J-Hope going in front of classroom loudly," I love you Yoongi. Would you be my boyfriend?"
Everyone were silenced.
Suddenly Yoongi laughed out loud,
" haha..You are really like a dog.."
J-Hope startled," Huh?"
Yoongi," Just like a dog when a masters gave food it shake his tails. Just because I talked to you..you thought I am going to take you...Are you an idiot?..When there are lots of beautiful women in this world who would be interested at a guy....
I would rather be with a dog than to be with a guy."
Everyone laughed at J-Hope..

J-Hope could clearly heard," Oh ! GOD his value is even lower than a dog..."
That day, lots of people teased J-Hope by comparing him with a dog. It was very hard for him to attend his class. His classmates too laughed at him. He couldnot stand anymore but cry, he wished," Please someone drag me out of here.."

Suddenly a guy grab him and took him outside the class. It was Tae. Soon they become close friends. Yoongi started to look for J-Hope but later ignored him. J-Hope got busy in his work. After some time, boss's son joined. It was Jin. Jin had a very good personality. So J-Hope and Jin got along very well. But J-Hope did not know that Jin is Yoongi's best friend. One day, Jin invite J-Hope for a lunch.
J-Hope got shocked to see Yoongi there.

J-Hope," Sir what..?"
Jin," Didn't I asked you to not be formal with me, call me Jin."
J-Hope," Okay Jin, He..."
Jin," Oh! He is my best friend. I'm sorry J-Hope but he asked me to call you. He wanted to talk with you."
J-Hope," But I don't want to talk to him. "
Yoongi," J-Hope, Stopped. I'm sorry. I was that mean to you..I.."
J-Hope," Mean...You think it was mean..Did you know how hard it was for me that day?...If you really don't like me then you could had just rejected me..It does not matter even it was in front of all..but you..." Crying
"Just don't bother me."

J-Hope left. After that Jin apologized to J-Hope for it. Jin and Yoongi were always together so it was hard for J-Hope to ignore Yoongi. After Jin's suggestion, J-Hope only agreed to be a  Yoongi's friend. At J-Hope birthday party, Jin and Yoongi came. After some time Tae too came. Yoongi did not like how Tae is that close to J-Hope. He asked Jin to distract Tae for him which Jin did agree for his friend.

Yoongi," J-Hope Can I talk with you?"
J-Hope," What do you wanna talk?"
Yoongi," Could it be you and Tae are together?"
J-Hope," What?.. Are you mad?.. Me and Tae..Oh! God...I couldn't even imagine.."
Yoongi smiled," Oh..okay then...So you still want to be with me?"
It was like a confession from Yoongi's side but it didnot make J-Hope happy. Instead it made him remembered being a tease," I don't want to be with you anymore."

Yoongi," Don't you still love me?"
J-Hope, "May be yes..But I don't want to be with you."
Yoongi," If you love me then.."
J-Hope," To be in love is not in our limit...we can't helped it..But to be with that person or not..It will always be in our hands...So even though you are still make my heart beat, I don't want to be with you."

After J-Hope left from Yoongi's side he realized his actual feelings for him.. He thought confessing own feelings is easy..But he never could. Yoongi thought may be after Jin's wedding he could gain courage to appease J-Hope and woo him again even though later is very stubborn with his answer. But things get complicated when a marriage partner had to be changed.

After Jin's wedding, Yoongi, J-Hope and Jin went to party. After Jin got drunk he was taken by Namjoon. But J-Hope had to take Yoongi home. Yoongi was very good at handling his drink. But he only had that chance so he pretend himself to be drunk.
J- Hope took Yoongi home.

When J-Hope was about to leave, Yoongi grabbed his hand," Do you hate me now?"
J-Hope brushing his hand,'' No, I don't hate you."
Yoongi," Then can I tell you something?"
J-Hope,"Just speak fast..I need to go.."
Yoongi quickly," I love you.."
J-Hope laughed," Haha..Nice Joke.."
Yoongi,"But I'm telling truth."

J-Hope," you are serious?"
Yoongi seriously," Yes, I am."
J-Hope," Sorry..."
Yoongi," Don't you love me anymore?"
J-Hope," Truth is I maybe...I still like you but I don't want to be with you...Whenever I see you I only could remembered your humiliation towards me...I am not a dog, Yoongi."
J-Hope was about to leave.
Yoongi shouted," Is it your ego?..Because I hurt your ego you don't want to be with me."
J-Hope," No, It's my self-respect."
J-Hope left.

After that J-Hope and Yoongi usually met each other because of Tae and Jin. As a friend they casually talk to each other. After Jin's birthday party was spoiled, Jungkook took Jin away. J-Hope and Namjoon handed their gifts to Yoongi. Namjoon rushed afterwards. J-Hope and Yoongi left there alone.

Yoongi," Should I make you coffee?"
J-Hope," No, I need to go.."
Yoongi," I am more polite than before..If you tell me I could.."
J-Hope interrupted," I had a boyfriend Yoongi..So stop all this now.."
Yoongi was shocked," What?..I did n't know .."
J-Hope," Bye, Yoongi."
Yoongi was left alone at the cafe. It was very hard for him to bear. He loses all his chances..

After Jin was saved, Yoongi and J-Hope were together.
Yoongi," How's your boyfriend doing?"
J-Hope," He is fine..Why?"
Yoongi," That person..Did he make you happy?"
J-Hope," His name is Kim Jinug. And I'm very happy with him.."
Yoongi," I'm very happy for you."
J-Hope," Thank you.."
Yoongi," Did you regret it?"

J-Hope," What?"
Yoongi," Did you regret that you ever fall in love with me?"
J-Hope smiled," No...I don't regret it..At that time, I was happy..I was happy when I was in love with you.. But I regret that day..If I hadn't confess to you then that will be better..."
J-Hope's boyfriend honk his car horn.
J-Hope," I need to go."
Yoongi," I too don't regret it..Trying to win you again..I don't regret it..I was happy too..Sorry and Thank you, J-Hope for everything."
J-Hope gave a smile and nodded. He went to his boyfriend's car.
Yoongi seeing J-Hope off tell himself,
" I regret that I was too coward to reach you before, now I lost you."
