I woke up the next morning around 8am, we had both watched tv for a little bit and ended up falling asleep early. I sat up as I heard the shower water running and realized Hannah was already up. I got up and knocked on the bathroom door which I was greeted by a very over excited Hannah.

"Good morning!" she practically screamed.

"Good morning to you too." I respond a little annoyed. "I just have to go the bathroom if you mind."

"Oh, yea of course." she says as she steps out. I close the door and go to the bathroom as she talks through the door. "So, I already went down to the breakfast buffet, great by the way. I brought you some pancakes and a blueberry muffin, they're in the fridge. Oh yea! I also made a new friend... well it is a dog, but that's progress right!" she says. I open the door and give her a bit of an annoyed look.

"A dog is not a friend. How many times do I have to say this?" I say. She rolls her eyes and stumbles back into the bathroom as I flop back down on the bed and turn on the tv. I click through for a couple minutes, not being able to find anything good on the hotel tv. I decide to get up and eat the muffin Hannah brought me and I grab my phone on the way back to the bed. I pull up my google search and search "Top tourist attractions in New York City" I play around for a little bit trying to plan a perfect day. Hannah finally comes out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her hair.

"So, I was thinking, we can go to a dog park, and then buy them ice cream and treats and give all the stranger dogs the treats and then we will catch one and take it home." Hannah explains, completely serious.

"We can't kidnap a dog Hannah, and plus were in New York City, why would we want to go to a dog park?" I question.

"It's where all the rich, spoiled, perfectly groomed dogs are!" she says.

"Well spoiler alert, that's not happening." I say as she flops down on the bed. "So, I've been looking around for places to go, I was thinking we go to Central park today an-" I am cut off by Hannah.

"Will there be dogs there?" she asks.

"Yes Hannah, there will be dogs there." I say, very annoyed. "Annnyway, we can head to Central Park, and there are a lot of cool places to visit down in that area, and then we can go to Petrie Court for lunch. It's a little coffee shop thing." I explain.

"I'm in!" Hannah shouts. I hop off the bed and head into the bathroom for my shower. Once I'm finished I change into a pair of jeans, a cute V-neck t-shirt and some converse. "Do you think converse are the best way to go for walking around New York City all day?" Hannah asks.

"Yes, yes I do actually." I respond, a bit cockily. "Are you ready to explore?" I ask Hannah.

"Absolutely!" she screams. I grab my wallet and phone and walk out after Hannah. We head down to the lobby and make our way through the big breakfast crowd. Once we finally make it out we take in a deep breath of New York City air. "Not the best... air I've ever breathed." Hannah says, causing me to laugh a little.

"That's one thing Tennessee has on New York, good air. " I chuckle. We call a taxi and direct it to Central Park. We both watch out the windows, looking at people walking down the streets, travelers, workers, moms, photographers, you name it. The tall buildings and cars surrounding the whole area make the whole thing seem so much more real. We finally arrive at our destination and hop out, paying the driver as she drives off. Central Park, one of the biggest parks in the world, and we were about to explore it.

"That is a lot of people." Hannah says, looking out across the park. There were people everywhere, laying out on the lawn with blankets, watching their kids play, reading books, writing, walking their dogs, talking, some people just laying there, taking in the sights. We could see people walking all around, sight seeing. It was one of the most amazing views.
