I called a taxi and headed back to my hotel, feeling a little less confident than before. As soon as I open the door to my hotel room Hannah rushes over to me.

"How'd it go? Did you meet Tom? Did you get any outfits sized? Did yo-" I cut her off.

"Hannah, chill out. All I was doing was meeting my helpers." I say as I toss my papers on the little table. Hannah gives me a confused look and picks up the papers, quickly skimming through them.

"What is this??"

"It's the rules to my dieting that I have to do to be able to fit the role." I reply.

"Dieting? That's crazy. Didn't the directors say you were perfect for the role??"

"No, they said I was almost perfect. But it's fine, I expected this. I told you I wasn't good enough to pull off Tom Holland's sister." I say as I flop down on the bed.

"Well how long do you have before filming starts?"

"2 weeks, and I have to lose 20 pounds." I say, making Hannah's eyes go wide.

"That's impossible! They can't do that to you." Hannah practically screams.

"No Hannah, it's fine. If I follow the instructions, everything should work out." I say, basically ending the argument.

______

The next few days go by and I've done everything I could possibly do. I got a gym membership and started going 2 times a day, but that only lasted 2 days. After my first 2 days of my dieting and gym workouts, I had only lost 2 pounds. And loosing 2 pounds is something you usually do without dieting. So basically I was nowhere. So the 3rd day of my dieting I went to the gym early morning, midday, and evening. I hadn't been eating much, but so far it hasn't really effected me, but when I did eat I stuck to my proteins. It's now early morning on my 4rth day of the diet.

I woke up at 6am, I am also trying to get a habit of waking up early so I am ready for filming hours. I got up and got ready, checking my phone right as I walked out the hotel door. I got a message this morning from an unknown number, quickly realizing who it was by reading the message. "Hey Rylee! It's Quin. I just wanted to check in with you and your dieting, and remind you that you can do it. It seems like a lot, but once you have it down you will be perfect for the role." I swipe the message away as I head downstairs and got a taxi.

I just couldn't help but feel like this wasn't working. I mean yea this is only the 4th day, but nothing is changing. Everyone knows that it takes time to get fit, or change your body. But all the directors and dressers for this movie didn't seem to care about that. All they cared about was the perfect actors and good stats for the movie. I decided to skip breakfast this morning and I headed straight to the gym with just a water bottle.

_____

I ended up staying at the gym half of the day so by the time I got back to the hotel I was exhausted. I flopped down on my bed just as Hannah walked out of the bathroom.

"Hey, so I met William at the breakfast buffet today. He asked if we wanted to go out to dinner with him tonight." Hannah says while drying her hair with a towel.

"uhhh... I think I'll sit out on this one. I was thinking about going on a run or something."

"Well surely you can come eat dinner with us before your run, they have salads and healthy options there."

"It's fine Hannah, I just ate before I came back here." I say, completely lying.

"Alright, well I'll be leaving in about half an hour, so if you change you mind make it fast." She says as she walked back into the bathroom. I changed into some athletic leggings and a tank top before I left for my run, just to get rid of my other sweaty clothes.

"Hannah, I'm leaving!" I shout through the bathroom door as I head out and straight out to the streets to catch a taxi. I head straight to Central Park and found the running trail. About 6 miles, I could do this. I plugged in my Bluetooth earbuds and started off on the course.

About 1 mile in I was still doing perfectly fine, besides a little hungry. I have decided every time I get hungry I will just drink a bottle of water, so I did. Quickly filling it back up at a rest stop by the trail.

I had finally finished 4 miles, when I started feeling absolutely exhausted. Luckily I got a call to distract me from how tired I was. I clicked the green button, bringing the call to my earbuds as I slowed to a jog so I could talk.

"Hey Rylee, it's Quin." He said on the other side of the call.

"Hey, what's up?" I say between breaths.

"So, I don't know if you received my message this morning, but I sent you one. And when you didn't reply I got a bit worried about what's going on."

"Oh my God, I'm so sorry. I meant to reply but I was a bit busy at the time." I say, lying once again.

"It's alright, but it did make me think a little bit about how you're doing with this dieting."

"Oh I'm doing fine. I mean, it is a lot to put on me, but with this healthy diet and exercise I think I can pull it off. " I say, trying to sound sure of myself.

"Right, well I thought it might be good for you to have someone by your side helping you for the next week. Ya know?"

"uh.. yea, I guess that might help."

"Alright, well can you meet me at the studio in an hour?"

"Yea, yea for sure." I say.

He ends the call and I turn my music back on. I look up to see I have around 1 and a half miles left. I could do this in less than an hour. And so I did. I finished up the whole track and had 5 minutes to get to the studio. I rushed to a taxi and made it to the studio, although I was about 5 minutes late because of New York traffic. I rushed into the studio where I was quickly greeted by Quin.

"Rylee, you made it. You had me a little worried for a minute." Quin claimed.

"Yea, uh sorry. Ya know, New York traffic." I chuckled.

"It's perfectly fine, just make sure it doesn't happen again." He said.

"I promise it will never happen again Mr. Quin."

"Were you at the gym before you came over?" he asks, causing me to quickly look down at my clothes drenched in sweat.

"I went on a run actually." I reply as I brushed the sweaty hair out of my face "So why did you want me here exactly?"

"To meet the person I have chosen to help you along the way with your workouts." He said.

"Alright..." I say

"He is this way, so just follow me." He said.

I silently groaned when Quin said "he" I thought he would have gotten me a girl to help me out. This was going to be a long week having to workout with a guy.
