Chapter 12: In Action, I Care

It failed as expected... From the minute the timer starts, it was already done. Everyone's breathing hitched and got stuck at their throat when he got out of the water looking like a crystal ball. We are too slow.

It cause a huge explosion that nobody was able to dodge, so we all fell on the water. Luckily, Isogai grab me before I even drown further. "Daijobou, Y/n-san?" The brown hair boy ask before I silently nod, still back-hugging him in the same position when I ask for a piggy-back ride.

"Nyurfufufufu~ My trump cark of all trump cards; my perfect defense form!"

"PERFECT DEFENSE FORM?!?" Everyone beside me yelled at the back on their heads as their eyes all twitch at the same time.

"The exterior is crystallized high-density condensed energy. The energy left over upon shrinking my body down hardens in a shell around it. In this form, I'm absolutely invincible!" He explain, feeling proud while the class is left defeated and upset.

"No... So if you always stay in that form, we can never kill you!"

"If only that were the case... This energy crystal will decay in about a day. And the moment it does, my body will re-inflate, absorbing energy and returning to it's usual form. On the other hand, for the approximately one day until this crystal decays, I can't move an inch. This brings with it certain risks!"

It was all an utter failure...

"Invincible, my ass. Somethin' like this has gotta be breakbale somehow!" Terasaka bark and try breaking the energy crystal with a wrench he have that even I don't know where it came from.

"Oh I get it. No weakness means we're out of options..." Karma mention as he pull me up in the shore with Isogai's help before I catch Koro-sensei when Terasaka throw it to me.

Karma smirk and show a picture of Koro-sensei with his embarrassing pervert moment. "IYAAAA! No! Y/n! Karma! Stop! I can't cover my face without any hands!"

"Gomen, gomen! Then I'll just... stick this slug on you!"

"WAAAAHHHH!"

"Someone go find me a filthy old guy so I can jam this thing down his shorts!"

"Ya! Yamete! Tasukete!"

"We'll disperse for now, students. The top brass and I will discuss how to deal with this one..." Karasuma said as he put the crystal looking ball Koro-sensei in a see through plastic as everyone get out of the water.

Even if Koro-sensei is proud of us and give us his usual praises in assassination, everyone's looking down and upset. It was their biggest disappointment yet. The same expression I knew they will wear at the end.

"Come on, Y/n. We're going back..."Nagisa mumbled with a down voice. With the shock of our all-in, full-throttle attack missing the mark, who wouldn't be.

At the end of the night, everyone made their way back to the hotel with all their heads hang low.

I watch the dark clouds coming closer as I shiver a bit when I felt a gush of wind pass through the class. The gloomy atmosphere hasn't even change a bit. Chiba and Hayami are the most disappointed one to theirselves.

They said that their fingers stiffened and their vision narrowed. The feeling of nervousness is what I'm talking about. I never felt that since the attack.

I accidentally let out a small yelp when Maehara lean his head on my shoulder. "Sorry, my head is s-spinning... I-I'm so e-exhausted..." he groan before I felt his body temperature travelling to mine. Is my hands that icy?
