I was currently walking out of school. I had to come in to do my final exams and was now heading home to finish up people dresses for prom.

I have 10 dresses to complete before prom and not one is mines but of course I'm charging people.

Prom is literally in 2 weeks and I have not started on my dress yet.

I've been so stressed lately trying to focus on getting everyone stuff out the way so they can be prepared I haven't been thinking about mines.

"Hello" I said answering my phone

"Hey Layla it's Mariah I was wondering if you can make me a dress for prom"

I sighed and placed my hand on my head.

"Please I'll pay extra I've looked everywhere and can't find a dress that I like"

"Okay"

She squealed "thank you I'll cash app you the funds right now"

"You'll have to come over so I can measure you" I told her

"Okay are you available today at 3?"

"Yea just text me before you come"

"Okay bye thanks again" she hung up

I shook my head before getting into my car and starting it.

"Hey mom" I said walking into the house

"Hey girly how was school ? "

"Good" I said walking upstairs

"Damn can I get a hug before you go up there?" She asked

I sighed before turning around and walking back down.

"What you in a rush for ?" She asked hugging me

"I have dresses to finish"

She shook her head "okay"

After she let go I turned around and walked back up the stairs.

I walked into my room and threw my stuff on the bed before walking into the bathroom to take a shower.
