"Layla you needa get up and clean these dishes" my mom yelled on the other side of my room door.
Layla sighed loudly going back to sleep. It was Saturday and her time to sleep in as long as she wanted.
Couple mins later Layla mom came back but this time walked right in.
"Layla I ain't gone tell you again"
"Okayyy I'll do them" Layla sighed
Her mom walked out and closed the door behind her. Layla got up and threw the covers off of her and slipped on her bedroom slippers.
She walked to the bathroom and brushed her teeth then fixed her bonnet. She grabbed her earbuds and phone then went to the kitchen .
"Alright I'm going to work" Layla mom said grabbing her keys
Layla nodded and waved as she left.
She put her earbuds in and played "too much to say" by Queen Naija and started washing the dishes.
30 minutes later she was done with the dishes and was done sweeping the floor. She was currently wiping down the counter while singing her heart out.
"SAYY WHAT YOU MEAN, AND MEAN WHAT YOU SAYYY"
"SAYYY WHAT YOU MEAN-.." she sang but stopped when her phone started ringing
She looked at the caller ID and smiled before answering.
"Okay lay I hear you wit the vocals" Tj yelled making her scrunched up her face
"Open the door ma" sincere chuckled
She hung up and went to the door seeing Tj and Sincere standing there.
"Hiii" Tj smiled giving Layla a side hug before walking in the house
"Wassup" sincere smirked looking down at her
"Hii" she smiled
"You gotta a nice voice"
"Y'all really heard me" she asked as she closed the door
"Yup"
"What y'all doing here" I asked
"We came to chill until we decide to go to that beach bash" sincere said sitting on the high chair
"Bro your mom makes the best brownies ever" Tj said walking in with a bowl of brownies my mom made
"Yh I know"
Sincere was just staring at him with low eyes causing me to look at him weird.
"You high"
He smacked his lips and put his hand over his face.
"Yup he high asf" tj said walking to the living room
