"Hey Layla" I heard as I closed my locker
I looked behind me to see jake standing there smiling.
"Heyy jake" I waved awkwardly
"It's josh"
"Right josh my bad"
"It's coo, but uh I wanted to know what your doing tomorrow night ?"
"I'll most likely be at home watching Grey's Anatomy" I shrugged
" okay well how about I take you out" he asked licking his lips
"T- take me out ?" I stuttered
This was the first time a boy have ever asked me out. I didn't know if I should say yes or no.
"Yeah"
"Umm idk I'll think about it"
"Alright I'll text you later to get your answer"
"Uhh ok"
I walked off and headed to the girl locker room to change for cheer practice.
"The weirdest thing just happened to me" I whispered to Kennedy while pulling her to the side
"What happened"
"I just got asked out."
"On a date" I added
"By a boy" I finished
"Ouuu period sis, what did you say"
"I said I'll think about it, I didn't kno what else to say"
"Wait who asked you out"
"Josh"
"Uhh josh that hangs with sincere ?"
"Yes"
"I mean he's cute but I don't think sincere would approve"
"I mean why wouldn't he, we're best friends"
"Right" she laughed
"Come on girl let's go get ready before we gotta run laps"
