After a few minutes we're deep in the forest, and everything seems to have gone quiet again. Yet there's this uneasy feeling hanging in the air, and I'm just waiting for this bitch to show up again.

After the explosion there was nothing. I haven't seen anything and I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

With any luck everyone got out of the forest already, and the rest of our squad is just waiting for us...

I really hope Eren didn't do anything stupid while he was with them, at least I could probably count on Eld and Petra to handle him.

I smile to myself, but it's cut off when yet another explosion comes from just about 500 meters away.

Without any words, the Captain and I bolt off to that location.

That's the second explosion... the Female Titan and Eren are most definitely both transformed right now.

"This isn't good. Eren is still new to his powers and doesn't stand a chance against her." The Captain says.

"I hate to admit it but you're right... We need to get to him before that can happen."

He nods, "Stay focused, we don't want to pick a fight with her, just grab Eren and get the hell out of here."

I nod as well, "Yes sir."

We keep flying in the direction of the explosions. Wait... if Eren was there does that mean the rest of the squad-

I fly past a hanging body, and do a double take.

That blonde hair... Eld!

"Y/N!" I hear the Captain shout.

Distracted, I trip up and crash onto the forest floor. I groan as I lift myself up.

No... no that can't be... that's someone else. Come on Y/N, you just saw a glimpse it's not...

I make the biggest mistake of look up.

It's not...

I feel like I'm gonna throw up.

It is. It's Eld, Gunther, Oluo... 

They're all hanging limply or crushed. It's them. They're dead.

I feel my breath get heavy, and my eyes go wide as the blood drains from my face.

I slowly look up in front of me, at the tree I fell next to.

"AHHH!!!" I let out a shout and break down in tears.

Right in front of me lies Petra, crushed by that monster.

This can't be happening. They can't all be dead. Every one on our squad. There's no way...

My ears ring, and my vision fades in and out. Why the hell am I still alive. Why, out of all of them, should I still be living... None of them deserved this...

I feel someone shake my shoulders, and I hear a muffled voice.

"-/N! Y/N! We have to keep moving." I see the Captain in front of me, with an angry and sad expression.

I nod, letting the tears dry and dust myself off. I look up at the sky, broken up by the tree branches. I let out a sigh and close my eyes...

I'll grieve later. Right now I'm going to drive my blades into this bitch's eye sockets.
