"Our target is the Female Titan, and our goal is to take her prisoner. Eren is taking the brunt of the fighting so I trust you all know what you need to do." Erwin says, looking back at the squad as we all nod.

We stand together on the roof of a building, staring at the cloud of dust kicking up wherever the titans fight.

Everyone seems to get in a stance, with determined looks on their faces.

I do the same and glare straight ahead at the direction of my target. I see the head of that monster as it darts up and down while fighting Eren.

All the anger I've pent up from our mission in the woods resurfaces, and the grip on my blades tightens.

Erwin notices this and gives me a cautious look. I give him a quick slide glance before darting my eyes back down. I close them and take a long breath.

My frustration, sadness, and turmoil... it's all been building up to this moment. I'm not leaving without capturing this monster, if it's the last thing I do.

I open my eyes, this time a dead calm has taken over my body. I take still and even breaths as the light breeze fills my lungs and loosens my hair.

I feel Erwin's stare and look back at him. We have a silent conversation through our eyes, and he nods to me.

"Alright scouts!" He shouts, "Move out!!"

He turns and points one of his swords towards the dusty cloud of destruction towards one part of the city, and the squad takes off. 

I fly through the air, dipping past buildings and gliding over rooftops. 

We pass by mass areas of destruction, following the remains of a titan fight.

This destruction is insane... I don't even want to know how many civilians were killed in the middle of it.

"Y/N!"

Suddenly Erwin calls my name and I look his way as he drops down to meet me on a rooftop.

"Go meet up with Hange and her squad. I'm going to assess the situation on the Wall with the rest of this group." He commands.

I nod firmly and get ready to take off when he stops me again.

"And Y/N, stay aware. Don't rush in blindly, and listen to Hange. Please stay safe." He warns.

I roll my eyes knowingly and give a quick smile, "Sir yes sir! I always am."

He cracks a small smile and nods at me, before I start my way over to Hange.

If I'm correct, she's currently with her squad following Eren and Annie's fight. This should make it pretty easy to find them considering the amount of destruction they're causing...

Speaking of which this isn't looking good for Erwin. I have no idea how he's going to explain all of this to the government, I would not want to be in that position right now. Yikes.

I refocus myself when someone else calls my name from a little below me on a rooftop.

"Y/N! Over here!" Hange waves me over after spotting my figure fly past them.

After quickly maneuvering myself to the building, I carefully swing onto the roof and land lightly before walking over to Hange, Armin, and Jean.

"Glad you could join us Y/N, right now we're following Annie and Eren's fight. Our goal is to find an opening to cut her out of her titan, but there's no opening and it's too dangerous in the middle of their fight. The best we can do is follow and assist Eren." Hange debriefs me.
