"Mi-Mi-chan!!!" Ayame calls out, causing me to jump up.
I was just on my way to my Literature class, and now I have to put up with the most hyperactive person on the face of the earth.
Turning around, I see Ayame running up to me with a huge smile on their face, waving their hand high in the air. It's not like I can't see them. They're wearing a black, oversized T-shirt with a peace sign on it and light blue skinny jeans, with combat boots.
In college, we're allowed to wear whatever we want; if you couldn't already tell.
I sigh, watching them with disapproving eyes as they catch up to me, "Would you quit calling me that?" I ask in a tired tone, tugging at my sleeves.
"Can't do Mi-Mi-chan!" They exclaim.
I've been stuck in that dorm hall for the past week, and now that school finally started, I thought I had the chance to get away from my roommates' idiocy, but no. They all think we're friends.
I swear, these bitches are going to be my 13th reason why.
I let out an exhausted groan, continuing to walk to my next class. It can't be nearly as bad as my last one. I had to sit next to Akira, listening to him drone on and on about how I have no sense of style. Apparently, he doesn't like the fact that all I wear are hoodies and sweatshirts. It's all I can wear.
"Hey! Wait up, Mi-Mi!!" Ayame yells even louder than before, catching other students' attention.
I turn red out of embarrassment and anger.
Ayame happily skips along next to me, humming an annoying tune. I just realized how short they are. They stand around the same height N/n does. N/n; I wonder how she's doing.
"Oh, hey! We have the same Literature class!" Ayame exclaims, pointing to the schedule in my hand.
Oh god, please no. I know I'm a bad person, but I don't deserve this.
"Oh..." I speak in a disappointed tone.
"Hey! You could at least try to sound happy," They huff, crossing their arms over their chest and looking away from me.
I look at them through lidded eyes, "Yeah, no thanks," I say.
Ayame does a childish and slightly cute jump-up, straightening their back, "Hmph, it's okay, Mi-Mi-chan. I know you love me more than you show," They exclaim, a small smile gracing their lips.
"No, no, I don't."
"You don't have to be shy, Mi-Mi."
"I don't like you."
"Shhhh, it's okay, baby gorl," They flirt, winking at me while their index finger covers their lips, looking me up and down.
Yup, 13th reason why indeed.

When we get to class, I'm met with a horrifying sight. My entire dorm hall, minus Akira, is sitting together in the back row.
"Over here, you two!" Haru yells out, waving us over.
I watch them in exhaustion, jaw practically on the floor. Not only do I have to live with them, but I also have to tolerate them during class too.
Ayame skips over, grabbing me by the hem of the shirt, "Let's go, bestie!" They exclaim as I let out a low groan.
I sit in the very back row with Sato to my left and Ayame to his left. In the row in front and slightly below us, Hanako and Haru sit.
