⚠️TRIGGER WARNING⚠️ MENTIONS OF SEXUAL ASSAULT!!!
Mia's POV:
Click, Flash
I look at the scene through that camera on my phone. I made sure the flash was on so I could get a good picture. I check it to make sure it's clear.
I knew that pretty boy jackass was no good. Though, I didn't expect it to go this far. I should've warned Hanako sooner.
Sakamoto has Hanako pinned to the ground, holding her wrists above her head with one hand. The other is covering her mouth. The brown-haired girl looks utterly shocked, tears rolling down her cheeks. Sakamoto looks terrified, his calm demeanor having fallen apart.
In a flash, he lets go of Hanako, lunging at me in an attempt to break my phone.
I watch his feeble attempt with cold eyes, lowering my center of gravity. With a phone in my hand, I grab him by the arm, throwing him to the ground.
He lands on his back, coughing out saliva upon impact. When he slams to the ground, a loud BAM echoes through the long halls.
Hanako's eyes widen, huddling up to the wall, covering her chest. Even more, tears flow from her eyes as she fights the instinct to scream.
When he tries to get up again, I pick my foot off the ground, bringing it back like a soccer player getting ready to score a goal, and I kick him in the balls with 110% of my strength.
He cries out in pain, falling back to the ground, holding the place I kicked. This time it's safe to say he won't be getting up.
"Get the hell out of here before I kill you," I threaten, rage pumping through each and every inch of my body. I don't think I've ever been this angry before in my life. If he doesn't get out of my face soon, I might actually lose it.
Thankfully, fear takes over him, and he crawls away into another hall.
When he's out of my sight, I look down at Hanako, who's still shaken up by what happened. Her back's hugging the wall, and her eyes are wide. She's covering her mouth, so she doesn't scream, or maybe so her sobs can't be heard.
I come to the conclusion that it isn't a good idea to touch her right now, so I walk over to the other side of the hall, sitting across from her with my knees pulled up to my chest.
I'm still angry. The nerve that jackass had to pull something like that. I'm trembling in anger. I want to beat him half to death and then watch as he burns alive.
There's no justification for things like that.
I sit there, listening to Hanako's muffled sobs for a good half hour. She shakes in fear, having trouble breathing.
Eventually, she calms down to the point where she can speak, "I-I'm s-sorry, Mia," she whispers.
I thought I was angry before, but now I'm ready to raise hell, "Don't you dare apologize to me. What happened wasn't remotely your fault," I spit out, clenching my fists. It's probably wrong of me to be so harsh with her, but she needs to hear it.
Hanako doesn't say anything in response, only sniffles.
After another 15 minutes, Hanako tries to get up, but because of how scared she is and how much adrenaline she must've pumped out, she can hardly move.
I ask her if I can touch her, and she says yes. I put her arm over my shoulders and lead her out of the dark building and back to the dorms.
