Me, and the rest of my dorm hall are out at the cafe today, sitting at one of the outdoor tables. If I thought it was hot during the spring, it's burning now. My thick hoodie absorbs the sun's heat, trapping it in the fabric and burning my skin to a crisp.
As Ayame drones on and on about something that has to do with a cheese grater, Haru and I zone out, gazing into the distance, staring at random people.
Suddenly, a tall, blonde woman walks by with a sweat smile resting on her face. She's wearing a long, gray dress with a hat. Her eyes are light green, reflecting some of the sun's shine. She's talking with a tall man, at least 6'3".
"Damn," Haru sighs, looking at the same girl as me, "I wish I could pull a girl that pretty," He whines, resting his head in his hand. I could've sworn I seen Hanako glare at him.
I look at the girl with my usual expression, "Yeah, same," I say, watching as the man she's with puts his arm around her waist, and she leans into him.
"Mhm," Haru sounds, watching as she walks by. Slowly, his eyes grow wide as his gaze turns to me, his jaw practically on the floor, "WAIT! YOU LIKE GIRLS!?" He yells loud enough for Oikawa to hear from Argentina, slamming his hands on the table, knocking over his ice coffee, and jumping out of his chair.
"WHAT!?" Sato shouts, doing the same thing, except his coffee stays intact.
Everyone turns to me with surprised expressions, including Ayame and Akira. The craziest thing about this is, I shut up Ayame. Hallelujah.
I glance at each one of them with a startled expression, "I guess," I respond as Sato falls lifelessly, back in his seat, face pale, like he just saw a ghost.
"Wait, wait, wait... So you're a lesbian?" Haru questions, and before I have time to answer, he dramatically cries, "WHY DO THE HOT ONES ALWAYS HAVE TO BE INTO OTHER GIRLS!!"
I roll my eyes, glaring up at him, "Sit your ass back down, and no, I'm not a lesbian," I sigh.
Sato's eyes light up, the color returning to his face as Haru sits down as I instructed.
"So what is your sexuality, Mia, If you don't mind me asking?" Hanako inquires, looking at me with shocked orbs.
"I don't know."
"YOU DON'T KNOW!?" Ayame exclaims, slamming their hands on the table while jumping out of their chair, knocking over poor Akira's latte.
Oh, no. Why now? Why does God hate me?
"Did I stutter," I respond in a bored tone as Akira stares at his spilled drink, sadness in his orbs. It's safe to say he no longer cares about the conversation.
Ayame's eyes grow serious, sitting back down in their chair with their hands tied on the table, "Operation: Figure out Mi-Mi-chan's sexuality is a go," They state, as everyone gets serious all of a sudden.
Great. Here we go.
"Tell me, Mi-Mi; have you ever felt emotional, romantic, and or sexual attraction towards a woman?" They ask.
I sigh, humoring the moran, "Yeah.
"All of the above?"
"Yup."
The table grows quiet for a moment, causing me to cringe and sweat even more than I already was.
"What about with men?" Akira asks, eyes closed but far too focused.
