JUSTINE'S P.O.V
Isn't it hurt, knowing your lover actually will never leave you back? Yes because you're nobody, Justine. Toby's the celebrity. He's the guy. He has his own right to choose. And out of best choices, he would definitely choose Sheryl. How obvious is that.
"Hey you want to buy something before we go home?" He grabbed my shoulders as we walked out of the Valentine store.
"Not really." I gave him the fake ill expression.
"Wait, are you okay? Anything hurts?" Toby checked on my head and body.
"No no no. Just let's drive back please." I mumbled.
"You've been acting real weird since this morning. Was it a mistake to ask you go shopping?" He looked at me.
"Glad we're going out but my period..." Another stack of lies.
"Right. Period. Girls stuff."
Period. Haha. Go laugh at me, I don't mind. It's been another million stack of lies that I've put all over my body. Not having too much guts to tell him the truth. Be it. Let him think I'm happy with his decision of Valentine. After all 3 years he's been crushing over Sheryl, this year will be a revelation to him. Last year, as long as I remember, I was still his Valentine because wow, told you, we're the Thing One and Thing Two. Probably this year it's all changed. Or has already changed without me knowing. Or I was too confident about everything, didn't realize it has never been about me.
"Thank you." I climbed out of his car soon as possible.
"Justine, wait up!" He ran to me. "Why so hurry?"
"Because...period?" I gave him another confused look.
"Uhm...actually, I really need your help though." Toby sit on my swing at the front park. "For Valentine."
Wow. Might as well just kill me already with a knife. It's better that way. Reality hurts so bad,
"All ears." I sit on the another swing.
"I really, really, want this so bad. She's been inside my head for years, and you know that. This Valentine should be special. And you know, I got this idea from yesterday's party, that probably...you will help?" Toby giggled.
"What kind of help?" I fakely held my tummy to show him I'm in this period problem, when actually the one that's hurt was my heart.
"Arranging...dinner? Pleaaaase twin you know me." He begged, kneeling in front of me like a proposal.
"That makes you happy?" I murmured. No, don't cry.
"Beyond happy." He nodded in confidence.
"Alright. Let me check something with Danny." I said in short. "You wanna wait here or I'll just call you?"
"Call, possibly? Connor needs the car. I said to him I'll just use this til before lunch." He's ready to go.
"Bye." I waved.
"Thank you Justine. I love you so much." Toby suddenly came up back and hugged me tightly. "Get some rest. You look terrible."
"Ha. I am, with or without period thing." I rolled my eyes.
"Oh and can I please put the Teddy Bear in here? Not risking any questions from the bros." He brought up the doll to my house, placed it perfectly in my room.
"Yeah yeah anything."
"Bye! Love you!"
He drove away in maximum speed. I just chuckled, finally can let out this tears and groan. So hurt. I didn't realize it, since when did my life turn so pathetic like this. I should have not said yes to anything he said. But I always too love him to ignore.
"Love you too..." I swept my tears away and walked inside.
I immediately got my phone and started texting Danny. He must help. He should be. I don't know what to do without him. Knowing somebody who's really good at arranging stuff is pretty nice. And he's a dear lovely friend too. I need my Danny. Oh wait. Nice way to save your number on my phone. He wrote it himself so don't blame me.
To: Danny The Guy♥
Danno, where are you? Really need your help of something.
Another Valentine party. Another mourning day.
Text me back soon xxSent. Danny's the man. He should notice that. Now, time to breathe. I've forgotten how to breathe properly since yesterday.
