Chapter 8

John POV

I had heard Thomas's voice, that's why I ran to the bathroom. He can't see me with Alex. He'd hurt both me and Alex. Now I'm in the library. I feel really bad for making Alex hide our relationship but If anyone finds out I just know they'll tell Thomas and then He'll hurt both be and Alex. I know I'm a horrible person for cheating on my boyfriend and I know if Thomas found out I would deserve whatever he would do but I love Alex. I don't want anything to happen to him so sure I won't be a great boyfriend cuz I won't be around as much as I want to be but I love him and that's what counts...right?

I'm still in the Library, I'll leave later but Thomas said he wants to talk to me. I'm a little nervous but I always am so it's fine. After like 5 minutes Thomas comes and sits next to me. "Hey babe...." I say. He looks at me and kisses me.

"Hey beautiful..." I smile when He says that. He's not always mean or abusive, sometimes he's really sweet. "Why don't we go out tonight?" he smiles.

"Oh... I really really wish I could Tommy but I have the English essay due tomorrow... tomorrow night we can go out though?" I ask nervously, I do still have to do the English essay but I'm mainly saying no because I told Alex I would be the dorm later.

"Ok...Tomorrow night it is. I'll pick you up at 8" He smiles. I nod. "Ok... I'm gonna go back to my room. I love you" He kisses me.

"I love you too" He smiles and walks away. well fuck. why did he have to be nice the day I decided to cheat on him? No. He's not always like this. I can't keep convincing myself he's a good person, he's not. I get up and walk back to my room. Alex runs out of his room and kisses me. I smile, he's so cute. "Hey"

"Hi." He smiles. "I texted the girls and they're coming over" Shit. Peggy. She's gonna tell me not to do this. I guess he could tell something was wrong cuz he says "We don't have to tell them...."

"No, I do I promise, I just get anxiety with this kinda thing... I'm sorry" I look away from him.

"No it's ok. We don't have to tell anyone you don't want to," He looks at me and smiles. I smile. "I still gotta finish my essay, you wanna chill in my room until the others arrive?"

"Yeah, Imma grab my laptop though cuz I haven't finished it either." I run into my room and grab my laptop then walk into his room and sit on his bed. "How many pages do you have so far?"

"Uh 53, you?"

"53 ?! I HAVE 2! WHAT THE FUCK?!" I exclaim. The minimum we needed was 3. Omg he's insane.

"Well I had a lot of points to make....I can finish yours if you want" He replies.

"No, I'd feel bad... " I reply. He pouts "wait you want to finish my essay"

"Yesss please! I'll do it good I swear! Please?" He begs. I laugh a little and nod. "Yay!" He quickly finishes writing then takes my laptop from me. "Babe.... this is 2 sentenced. Didn't you say you did 2 pages" I blush a little when he calls me babe.

"Well Actually I said I did 2. I didn't say 2 what.." He laughs and starts writing. Soon someone knocks on his door so we both walk out. All the others are sitting on the couch or floor or something.

"What do y'all want you ok me up" Maria groans.

"It's 7pm why the fuck were you asleep?" Alex asks.

"Cuz I was napping! now what do you want?" She snaps back.

"Whatever. Now we wanted to tell you something..." He looks at me to make sure I wanted to tell them. I nod and he smiles "Me and John are dating!" He exclaims. Everyone's faces light up.

"Fuck yeah I called it!" Herc screams.

"Y'all are cute" Eliza smiles.

"I new it would happen" Laf squeals.

Alex POV

"Wait so ya finally broke up with Thomas?" Angelica asks. John nods.

"Imma post about it." Maria grabs her phone. John grabs my arm and looks at me nervously.

"Uh actually we don't really want anyone else to know..." I looks at John, he smiles and nods. Maria rolls her eyes and puts her Phone away.

"John..." Peggy looks at John. He looks down.

"I told you to forget about it..." He tells Peggy. What are they talking about?

"No, I'm not gonna forget about it. You can't do this, it's stupid" Peggy walks over to him.

"I can do whatever I want! I shouldn't have told you anything you're just overreacting." John snaps back.

"You should tell everyone!" She exclaims.

"Would you want everyone to know if it was you?!" I could tell John was getting mad so I hold his hand but flinches and pulls it away. I dunno what they're talking about but it's making me nervous. I've never seen John mad.

"No I wouldn't but I'd tell them anyway!" Peggy sighs. "if you're not not gonna tell the rest of us you should at least Tell your dad, he's a lawyer and he's really nice, He'd know what to do" I see John start to tear up.

"FUCK YOU! I DON'T TALK TO ME AGAIN!" John slaps her and runs into his room, slamming the door behind him. I look at Peggy, she looks like she's gonna cry. Eliza and Angelica walks up next to her to comfort her.

"What the hell was that about?" Herc asks. I shrug and look at Peggy who just walks out. I go and knock on John's door but he just yells at me to go away. What's up with them 2?
