Ch.6 | Stranger means Danger

  Kathleen's P.O.V.

I couldn't stop looking into his mesmerising eyes as a blush crept across my cheeks making me bite my lip slightly.

"But we're still strangers" I whispered lowly not wanting to ruin the serene atmosphere around us.

"I don't need to know about you for me to like your presence" His words made me want to melt into a puddle right then and there.

"I could be a serial killer, for all you know, Mr. Kim" I chirped out, amused at the slight smile which was decorating his royal features.

"Then I'll be honoured to be killed by such a beauty as yourself" This Man surely have a way with words that was able to make me fluster almost immediately.

To think about it, I'm literally always blushing around him, at this point, I won't be surprised if he thinks my natural skin colour is red.

"You sure know how to charm a lady, huh?" I raised my eyebrows at him.

"Why? Is it working on you?"

Man is Smooth as Butter.

"As a matter of fact, it certainly is working, Mr. Kim" I whispered out as I watched him grow shy all of a sudden, fidgeting uncomfortably making me let out a chuckle.

"Wait, is Mr. Kim blushing?" I teased him as I smirked watching him turn his face away from mine.

"Gosh, I thought I was making you flustered" I laughed at his remark before sitting upright at the mat.

"Oh you were, before your shy boy persona came back" I remarked as he also pushed his body off the mat and sat straight, facing me with an adorable grin at his face.

"It's getting late, though" He said taking a moment to look at his watch making me widen my eyes at the sudden realisation.

I'm so dead.

"W-what's the time?" My brain started running in all possible outcomes as my parents were definitely going to bury me alive if I showed up at home with a stranger or if I showed up, alone, when I was supposed to be with Christopher.

"It's almost 9:30" I felt my frantic heartbeat sounding in my ears as I gulped loudly before quickly standing up and pulling Taehyung along with me.

"Taehyung, I need to go, right now" The desperation and fear was clearly evident in my voice as I watched Taehyung's face contracting in worry.

"Wait, how are you supposed to go home, without any transport or anything" He said making the realisation dawn upon me.

How am I supposed to go home alone when I came with that bastard?

"I have a motorcycle. I can take you home, if you'd like" I frantically nodded at his idea before we took a sprint downstairs and out of the diner as Taehyung went into the back garage to bring out his bike.

"I'm sorry, it's kinda old and rusty but it should work just fine, I guess" I widened my eyes at the worn out condition of the bike but it's not like I had any choice right now.

"It's fine" I shrugged before climbing behind Taehyung as he started the engine with some struggle.

"Seriously? Right now?" I groaned out in frustration as I kicked the motorcycle slightly hoping for it to just magically start so we won't have to stand in the middle of nowhere.

"Whoa! Take some deep breaths M'lady or you're gonna kick drop my bike out into the space" Taehyung joked as he was trying to see the problem while I glared at the back of his head.

"I wanna go home!" I yelled loudly almost on the brink of tears as I knew by now that my parents were going to kill me as soon as I will step a foot inside of my house.

"You won't be getting there by yelling though" He shrugged at me making me let out a scoff.

"It's all your fault, if you haven't brought this old rusty bike here instead of an actual one, I would've been in my house" I cried out as he huffed out a breath, probably in frustration.

"It's not my fault, it decided to break down in the middle of nowhere and don't degrade my baby like that" Before I could reply to his sentence, a headlight in the distance cut me off by the sudden brightness as I squinted my eyes, seeing a car coming towards us making me let out a yelp in happiness.

I grabbed Taehyung's arm, standing him up as I started yelling at the top of my lungs for them to give us a lift which worked as the car came to a halt besides us.

"You need some help?" A blonde let out boringly looking at us up and down as I noticed how her speech was slightly slurred which I brushed off as there was more important thing to deal with right now.

"Yeah, actually our motorcycle broke down here and we don't have any other mean to get back to our houses, would you mind helping us out, please?" I let out politely before giving Taehyung a side eye as he was sulking because apparently I degraded his baby.

Oh, baby? His motorcycle.

I noticed as the boy in the driver's seat gave the girl a curt nod and a smirk which I failed to notice as I was way to happy when they decided to help us out with a simple, "ofcourse, get in"

"I can't leave it alone here!" Taehyung said with widened eyes as he gripped the motorcycle as if it was about to disappear anytime soon.

"Taehyung, this is not the time for this. You can have someone get it in the morning or something but please for god's sake, come with me now" I hissed at him lowly as he bit his lip, thinking about the offer.

"But what if-"

"Nothing will happen to it, trust me" I said in a softer tone as he slowly nodded in understanding before turning towards the bike to give it a hug.

"Not that anyone would want a piece of metal, a pretty old one at that" i muttered slowly as Taehyung turned towards to face me.

"Did you say something?" He tilted his head slightly as I shake my head with a smile. "No, nothing at all" I lied through my teeth before we made our way towards the kind stranger's car.

I let out a sigh in relief as I thought finally the night adventure was finally coming to an end.

I knew that this was only the starting of the very long night ahead of us..
