Ch.12 | Date with Mr. Handsome

Kathleen's P.O.V.

"What should I wear?," I pouted, taking a look at the pile of clothes scattered on the bed in front of me. 

"Kat, it's just a date, relax," I turned around, taking a look at the amused girl, standing in the doorway.

"Yeah but it's with him," I mumbled, stressing on the word 'him' because if I don't dress up for a fine man as Kim Taehyung then for whom? That trick ass bitch, Christopher?

"Alright, and I just talked to your parents, they agreed in letting you stay the night over at my place," I beamed in happiness, muttering a little 'thank you' before going back to selecting the clothes.

"What about this one?," My focus shifted towards my best friend holding a circle dress. 

A beautiful fitting v-neck dress top and a huge mid-calf length skirt. The high waist of the dress, clenched tight with the help of a black girdle gave it a beautiful look as the white polka dots on this red dress complimented the look as a whole.

"This is so beautiful," My eyes shined in excitement, taking in the beautiful view of the dress and Betty stood with a proud grin across her lips.

"I knew it, now take it and get dressed quickly," She gently placed the dress into my hands before ushering me towards the bathroom to change.

"Are black stiletto's alright?," Betty yelled from the other side of the door as I replied with a quick 'Yes'.

"How's this?," I walked out of the bathroom, showing the dress to Betty, for her opinion because I totally love this one and judging from her reaction, I'm sure she feels the same.

"It looks so much more beautiful on you than it ever looked on me," She exclaimed making me chuckle at the exaggerated comment before she added, "Watch the lover boy going crazy for you tonight,"

A deep blush decorated the apple of my cheeks at the mention of him. I bit my lower lip, looking away from my best friend's prying eyes as she chuckled at my flustered state.

"Comeon, I'll style your hair and make-up," I complied sitting at her dressing table, looking at my reflection as she came behind me with a hair brush.

"You look so gorgeous," Betty exclaimed with a wide smile as I agreed looking into my reflection, totally satisfied with the way I looked.

"Why, thank you, Miss," I formally bowed at her, before we both broke into a fit of laughter.

"I think, the Romeo is here to get his Juliet," I blushed slightly, hearing her remark before rushing towards the front door after hearing the impatient horns of the car outside.

"Are you sure, you'll be alright by yourself?," I asked with concern plastered across my face as Betty shrugged with a nod.

"I'll be alright, besides Hobi's coming over soon. Gotta take advantage of my parents not being home right?," I chuckled at the comment, shaking my head before bidding her goodbye and making my way towards my date.

Wearing a plaid green dress shirt with brown pants, he was looking absolutely gorgeous.

His bangs falling over his forehead, giving him a soft and cuddly look as I bit my lip walking towards him, making him notice my presence by the sound of my stiletto's.

"Kathleen," My name left from his now parted lips in pure adoration as his intense gaze continued making me blush furiously.

"Indeed, who else were you expecting?," Eyes avoiding his, I continued looking anywhere except his gorgeous eyes, as I replied wittily wanting to calm my heated cheeks.

"You're looking so beautiful," He chuckled, taking my hands in his and pressing a light kiss on my knuckles as my eyes met his, he continued.

"Such a beautiful view to heal my sore eyes," A chuckle escaped from me as I playfully added, "I see, flattering as usual, Mr. Kim,"

"And you totally love it, Miss Williams," He winked, making my heart go into a frenzy from this small, seemingly harmless action of his.

"Can't deny that," I muttered, avoiding his eyes as he chuckled, shaking his head.

"Let's just get going," I said out loud, wanting to escape this embarrassing moment as he nodded, amusingly.

"After you," He gestured towards the car as I walked past him and got in, but not before him opening the passenger seat's door for me.

"Tae, This is so amazing!," I exclaimed happily, seeing the drive-in theatre in front of me in its whole glory.

Starlight Theatre

The blue neon sign shined at the top of the cinema screen as the people kept coming in with their cars, taking their respective places, oozing of excitement.

"Have you ever been to a drive-in theatre before?," I shook my head in response, still looking around in awe before locking eyes with him.

"I've never been to one," I answered before quickly adding with a grateful smile spread across my lips, "Thank you so much, Tae,"

"I'm glad you liked this," A smile lingered on his lips, his hands reaching towards the back seat making me confuse.

"I've brought some snacks for us," I smiled at his thoughtfulness, before turning my head towards the screen as the movie was about to start in a few moments.

Roman Holiday

Watching a movie on a cinema screen was surely something else, as I kept looking at the screen in front of my with my full concentration not minding anything else at the moment.

"Kat," Taehyung whispered my name in his velvety voice as I absentmindedly nodded, too invested in the plot of this movie to give him much attention.

"Kathleen," My name left from his lips, yet again as I turned around on my seat to face him properly, urging him to continue.

"Yes?," I voiced out, as he visibly gulped before meeting my eyes nervously.

"I wanted to wait till the end of our date, but having you beside me, looking as beautiful as ever, I can't hold back any longer,"
