Kathleen's P.O.V.
Moonlight seeped through the opened window of my room as the curtains lightly flowed along the gentle rhythm of wind making me smile gleefully at the feeling.
Humming to myself, I skipped towards the dresser before plopping down on the cushioned chair infront of the mirror, looking into my reflection.
"Kathleen, Can I come in?," Mother's urgent voice sounded from behind the door as I sighed,
Guess my hair brushing can wait.
"Yes, Mother," I turned towards the door, watching her entering inside my room, before coming behind me.
"What were you doing, dear?," The sickly sweet smile across her lips, made me nervous about what was going on but I attempted to calm my nerves and replied back in a respectful tone.
"Nothing much, was just about to brush my hair," She nodded in understanding as I watched her bending forward to take the hair brush in her right hand.
"Mother, what-," I didn't say anything, not wanting to come off as rude but seeing as this was the first time in years for her to brush my hair, Needlessly to say, I was confused.
"You know, I don't like to talk in circles, my dear. I just get straight to point and that is, I want you to meet up with Christopher after your exams are finished," I stopped breathing momentarily, not wanting to believe that she was saying this,
But I guess this explains her behaviour.
"Mother-," before I could protest, a hard tug on my hair stopped my sentence midway, making the pain unbearable as she held my hair tightly in her grasp with a smile, still plastered across her red lips.
"I don't think, I asked for your opinion dear, You'll reconnect with Christopher after your school is over, which I believe is, in one week, right?," Nodding at her question, I bit my lip from the pain in my scalp as I was on the verge of tears before closing my eyes tightly not wanting to cry in front of her.
"Great, and till then, make sure to groom yourself properly. And brush your hair atleast twenty times per day, to make them shiny, dear," Patting my shoulder, she left my room without another word after putting down the hair brush as I opened my eyes to see my reflection in the mirror.
I clenched my hands into a fist on my lap before taking a deep breath and taking the hair brush in my hands to brush my hair, just like she said.
"You should really learn how to close your windows at night, sugar,"
I gasp involuntarily as my eyes widened. Turning around towards my window, a relieved sigh escaped from my parted lips seeing the familiar figure of the person with the most beautiful smile.
"And you should learn to not come into my room like this all the time," I teased, my mood uplifting with just his mere presence as I crossed my arms across my chest.
"What can I say? I like surprising my gorgeous girlfriend with sudden visits ever now and then," I chuckled trying not to show how much his cheesy lines can fluster me all the damn time.
"Why, I'm honoured, Kind Sir," I faked a bow while sitting down at the chair as he giggled heartily before he did the curtsey too but with a more dramatic bow.
"I missed you, sugar," I looked into his eyes as he came forward taking my face in his hands, making me lean into his touch more.
"I missed you more, Tae," I replied, putting my hands on his, relishing in the feel of his warm touch as he connected our foreheads together making my smile widen if it was even possible.
"Why aren't you asleep yet?," He softly questioned, threading his hands through my hair making me relax almost instantly.
"Just because," I shrugged, not going into any details.
"Why are you here though?," I asked meeting his eyes, as he widened his eyes comically before moving back making me chuckle.
"What do you mean? You don't want me here? Wow, I'm offended," Clutching his chest, he dramatically fell on my bed, making me laugh out loud before I put my hand on my mouth, trying to prevent the sound of my laughter reaching my parent's ears.
"I was just asking," Rolling my eyes at his acting, I started brushing my hair.
"Just wanted to see the reason behind my racing heart," A small smile tugged on the corner of my lips, as he came behind me, putting his hands on my shoulders.
"Also, I wanted to give to give you something," He said making me eager to have the said thing as I raised my eyebrows at him through the mirror.
"Here," He took out a small picture from his pants pocket, placing it on my open palm.
I looked at the picture of Taehyung and I, standing in the rain, holding onto each other, making me feel giddy remembering the night.
"We look so cute!, But who took this?" I gushed out feeling an immense amount of happiness, just by looking at the picture of us, together.
"Namjoon and I'm glad you liked it," He whispered, bending down slightly to place his chin on my shoulder, wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Happy one week Anniversary, Sweetcheeks," I locked my eyes with his through the mirror, seeing the wide smile on his face as he placed a kiss on my cheek making me blush.
"Tae, you-," I didn't know what to say at the fact that this sweet human being is mine, because it's just way too unreal.
"Happy one week Anniversary to you too, the reason behind my every blush,"
I giggled lightly, seeing his eyes widening at my sudden use of nickname as I saw his ears reddening.
"You'll be the death of me, sugar," He chuckled, shaking his head slightly as I smiled,
Trust me, the feeling is mutual, Kim Taehyung.
