It was a week later, that was when the date for the date was set. The boys chased their dad around as they watched him get ready, all seeming confused by the change of his attire. From his normal sweater, hoodie, and shorts he turned to a pair of jeans and a long sleeved shirt with a jacket that had their family's crest on the back of it. It was as if the elder god meant to show off his supremacy or maybe he was just holding a tone that these two people could be new members of the kingdom.

Killer had taken to critiquing Nightmare's outfit, going as far as to fix the king's collar and Nightmare allowed him to do so with a chuckle. Cross was eager to make sure Nightmare had weapons on him, of course, just in case. Error fastened a clip to the king's jacket, something he had made himself, it wasn't perfect but the god adored it anyway. And Dust, who cradled Horror in his arms with a protectiveness that could rival a thousand soldiers, simply leaned into Nightmare's side and let out the softest hum when the King's hand patted his head.

The children followed their dad to the living room before suddenly hearing the sound of a bright wolf-whistle and a giggle. There on the couch was his brother and the god of lust yet despite the title, Nightmare shot them both a well earned smile. He greeted Lust with an almost proud tone, taking the other's hands with a smile. "It's nice seeing you again."

"You as well," Lust chuckled, "it's nice to see one of my loyal suppliers." He teased and Nightmare scoffed only for Fresh to laugh at his older brother's torment. The two older gods shared a quiet laugh before Lust brightened at the sight of the smalle tribe of kids that stood next to Nightmare, all of them huddled together. Slowly and carefully, Lust kneeled down and gave a soft and gentle smile to the group, some who smiled back with the same tenderness. Lust spoke carefully, quietly. "It's nice to meet you all."

The children all shared some looks, from curious to various concerns, as if they could read each other's mind. Suddenly, Cross was shoved forward and the eldest child huffed in contempt before facing Lust. Cross turned shy, however, he managed to get his words to fit in a sentence. "It's nice to meet you too, I'm Cross," he pointed to himself before going over his brothers, "that's Error and his pet spider, Webs." Error made a point to show off the little spider that had seemed to have grown since Nightmare last saw it. "That's Killer," said skeleton proceeded to wave excitedly, "and that's Dust and Horror." Dust responded to his name by holding Horror a little closer, the baby simply babbling as it attempted to chew on his brother's hoodie string.

Lust chuckled and nodded,"Thank you for the introductions, you're a very good speaker Cross."

Error seemed to perk, "X is the best talker... that's why we made him introduce all of us."

"Oh?" Lust smiled, standing back up. "I think we can take it from he Mr. Negativity."

Nightmare seemed hesitant, "Are you sure?"

"We can handle it brah, it's no worries!" Fresh smiled, side hugging the goopy god with a grin that could outmatch Karma's any day.

"We can handle it." The other god giggled as Nightmare shoved Fresh off of him. "You go have your fun."

"I..." There was a sudden pause from the king before he smiled brightly, "Thank you both, if Horror needs a bottle just ask Calen, keep an eye on Dust when he naps he gets night terrors, and for the love of Life, make sure Cross and Killer don't hurt each other when they spar."

The three adults shared a hug before Nightmare turned to his kids, making sure to give Cross, Error, Killer and Horror a small kiss goodbye on the forehead. Dust simply received a small hug, as that's all he was comfortable with. He waved to everyone before finally opening a portal, disappearing into some unknown AU where he would begin spending his night with two others.
