For sometime now he had suffered with the worse case scenario, writer's block. He was desperate to find a new motive. Something that would spark his imaginative mind of his.

He was now standing in front of Yokohama's grand library. He thought a stroll in the streets of a majestic city would spark an idea. But it would also be good exercise for Karl and him. All the while, he happen to come across a library . The library would certainly bring him suggestions, so here he was, he entered the enormous building without a second thought.

The mountains of books placed on the shelves surround him. The warm feeling of reassurance and home waved over his figure instantly. The smells of antique books and steamingly bitter coffee filled his nostrils. The comforting silence welcomed him. The way the citizens were so focused on their books and studies, each one lost in their own worlds. Poe was not leaving until he found his muse.

He made his way to the mystery sections as that took his interest quickly. He scanned through the thick leathery covers, once in a while, pulling them out to skim through the novels. Having picked at least three or four novels in his hands. Karl becoming bored hoped off his shoulders starling the poor lad.

"K-karl!?" He strutted, extending a hand out but to no reach. He quickly went after the racoon. As he was looking everywhere he was starting to panic as he couldn't find his dear friend. He heard a small yelp nearby, he followed to where it could have came from. He quickly rushed only to bump into someone dropping his books onto the ground making a rather loud thud. A few looked up, some shushed him and others weren't bothered by it.

"O-oh dear. I-I'm terribly s-sorry miss/sir. I d-didn't see you there. Are you a-alright?" Poe barely managed to stutter out. Barely even a whisper.

"Oh no, no worries. You don't need to apologize, it was my fault I was trying to catch this little guy before anything gets damaged." A friendly voice said followed by a small giggle.
