You were tired. Like really tired. Like really fucking tired. But not because you didn't get enough sleep, no.

You were tired of your current life.

How many shitty things that happened to you, how many people lied and used you, how many times you thought it would get better, but it only got worse.

You really didn't want to be living like this. Your life was nothing but one big, fat tragedy.

Not only your home, L'Manberg got blown up, it got blown up by the person who was once the most important in your life, who also got killed by his own father.

You basically lost everything in your life that ever meant something to you. Nobody cared about you neither. It was just you on your own. Like always.

But you were not the only one. There were many people who knew how you felt and what you went through, but they somehow suddenly found their happiness by leaving their old lives and going to a new founded country called "Las Nevadas".

It sounded weird to you and also like some kind of rich people country, but you heard that many people went there and actually got the life they have always wanted.

You had nothing left to lose, so why not try it there? Maybe you would also find your happiness somehow, even though nothing could make you really happy. You couldn't turn back time and stop your soulmate from blowing up your home.

"LAS NEVADAS" was written in magnificent and capital letters on this big sign right in front of you. The whole country basically consisted of high and splendid buildings and there was not only one which didn't look like it would cost more than the whole world. Everything seemed so extremely expensive and elegent that you were afraid to think that people found happiness there.

Your feet slowly carried you right into it where many people were enjoying themselves. There was not even one person who looked like they wouldn't love life. Everything seemed almost like heaven. People were laughing, drinking, gambling, they were simply just enjoying their lives. You weren't used to see people this happy and carefree. It almost scared you walking through this new country.

It was so big and crowded that you didn't know where to go. You looked around and noticed a high buliding, probably the highest in this country. Your feet slowly approached it and stopped right in front of it. "HOTEL" was written in captial letters right on the entrance just like the main sign you saw earlier, which was far more bigger than this, but this sign terrified you even more. It made you remember that everything in this country was probably way too expensive for you since you had lost everything with L'Manberg.

But maybe you could at least try? You heard people saying that Las Nevadas would be there for anybody, who searched for a home and people to care about, so maybe they would give you one?

With your bag, the only few things you had left, you entered the hotel and looked around. This place looked like you just visited an museum. It all came off so expensively elegent with the golden ceilings and the red carpets on the floor. It felt like you would be a celebrity, spending their free time here. Your feet continued bringing you further in, to the reception where a young man was greeting you.

"Welcome to the hotel in the one and only, Las Nevadas! What can I do for you, Ma'am? You want to book a room, don't you?", he friendly asked you while staring onto a monitor. Your head slightly moved to nod, but you weren't sure. You really didn't think what you want to do, but finding a place to stay would at least be a start. "Okay, so what is your name, Ma'am?", he asked you again, now gazing into your eyes as you cleared you throat. "Y/n L/n", you answered slightly insecure and bit your lip while he was typing in your name in his computer and suddenly smiled. "Oh, so you are new in Las Nevadas, Miss L/n! Well, then. Welcome and enjoy your stay, Miss L/n!", he responded before handing you a key with a golden pendant which had the number 88 on it.
