The only thing that flashed back into your consciousness when you woke up, was the terrible terrible headache you had felt since you knocked out. It got actually way worse now where you were almost sober. You didn't have this weird feeling inside your gut anymore, but the headache was still there and it wouldn't go away that easily.
With a yawn, you also rose up from the bed and walked to the bathroom where you looked at yourself in the mirror. Big dark circles laid under your eyes and your hair was a complete mess, probably after the making out with Quackity.
God, Quackity?
Why did he have to come back into your head all of a sudden?
You shook your head in denial. You couldn't waste your time thinking about this guy. He didn't do anything to you, but it wasn't like you wanted to see him again.
You decide to go and take a shower, so after taking your clothes off, you stepped into the very expensive looking shower and turned on the water. The warm water running down your body made you feel a lot better already. You really didn't expect your first day in Las Nevadas to be like that. Almost hooking up with the president and founder of this country, god. That would've probably spread like some kind of disease, so good for you that you ran away. But still.
You felt bad. You rejected him even though he did nothing wrong. He probably thought he did something wrong. God, you felt like a bitch. That wasn't very nice.
You decided to go and look for him to apologize for last night. You planned on living in this country for a longer time, so being on good terms with the president would have probably brought you advantages.
Once you finished showering, you put your causal clothing that you always wore on, packed your few things all together and then left the hotel. The streets of Las Nevadas were empty. It was still morning and most of the people were still sleeping at that time. They would all come out at night, typically for a gambling country.
You were walking around, seeing the main club still open, but not any people in there. No one was actually out this morning. You were wondering where Quackity was. Probably in his residence, right? But where was that? This country was way too big for you to find such a big thing.
God, how annoying. Your plans for this day got already ruined.
"Hey! Can I help you somehow?"
You heard a voice speaking right behind you as you then turned around, looking at the person. This person didn't seem like a human. His head looked like a totem, but his limbs were those of a shark. He clearly had to be new around here because you would've remembered seeing someone like him. "Uh, yeah. You actually can. I was wondering where Quackity lives", you answered. The guy in front of you smiled and pointed at the biggest building in the whole country. The space needle.
"He lives there, I can take you there if you want to!", he said.
"Really? That would be so nice!"
"Yeah, sure! That's what I'm here for!", he smiled at you really friendly before he then started walking towards the needle with you.
"Thank you, it's really nice that you're helping me", you mumbled, still keeping your eyes on him. You noticed that he was wearing a similar outfit to what Quackity wore when you first saw him. A white shirt and some kind of suspenders, but his were different. It kind of fit him somehow, you couldn't explain why."Ah, there's no need to thank me, really! By the way, are you new here? I've never seen you around before." His bright green eyes looked down at you, making you feel kind of intimidated. Not in a bad way, it made you feel good somehow.
You answered with a nod and slowly approached the needle with him.
"Yesterday was my first day, so that's probably why you never saw me around."
"That's cool! Well if that's so, we're probably gonna meet more often then", he said, stopping right in front you with a big goofy smile. "And we're there!" He pointed to the heaven where the big needle was standing. You followed his hand, looking up at the tall building. You remembered looking at the hotel thinking it'd be the tallest building, but you definitely were wrong.
