TRIS

House mates

I followed the directions given on the paper. Turns out the house was right next to the office block of the shadow hunter school. Also, as i followed the directions given, i found out that the school was organized this way: the office block that i was in a few minutes ago had a few floors, and the upper floors are used for indoor classes. Theres another bigger block beside it and it is used for training (they even have a weaponry room in that block!) then there was a last block, where the auditorium and the library was located.

As i headed towards the house, i saw that some of the windows were open. Some of the students have already arrived, i thought. Even from afar i could see how magnificent the house was. There was even a swimming pool at the side of the house! Wow. I totally didn't expect that.

I finally reached the house. Using the key given to me, i open the main door to the entrance of the house. Stepping in, I heard someone say,"that's another one!". I looked around and found the source of that voice. A woman, in her 20s, with white blond hair and brown eyes, walked towards me.

"Im Zoe, the administrator of this house, and you are?" she asked. "Makayla. Makayla Johnson."I replied. "lemme see...ah yes, i found your name on this list." She waved the clipboard at me. "Well, do you want to meet your other house mates too? Or a tour around the house?"

"I would like see to my room first" I decided, wanting to put all my heavy baggage down. "And your room is..." she referred back to the clipboard and i quickly answered for her,"it's 203". She started blushing and explained that she was new here and today was her first time in this house. "oh." "Just don't tell anyone else here. It's kinda embarrassing." "Your secret is safe with me." i grinned at her, trying to make her feel at ease.

She lead me up a winding stairs that was between the dining room and the living room, where the entrance to the house was.

"So how did you end up as an admin here?" I asked. "This was actually supposed to be a part time job, and i will be doing it for a year. You see, i graduated from the school of TRIS and i was applying for a job as an admin there, but I was inexperienced, so i needed to get a job that is related to admin matters." "Oh, cool. So, what do you do in school?" "The first year i spent was also here, when the school of shadow hunter first began. The year after I went to the school of TRIS, and the third year was in another TRIS scho-." "Isn't there only 1 school of TRIS?" "The reason why it was so secluded from the rest of the world is because it did not belong to this world. There are many alternate worlds in the universe, and this is just one of them. So the total number of the school of TRIS is actually 3, one for each year."

We eventually made it to the second floor after the conversation and she showed me the hallway to my room."Since your room number is 203,The '2' is for the second floor and the '3' is for the number of rooms from the start of the hallway. Rooms with odd numbers are on the left hand side of the hallway while rooms with even numbers are on the right hand side. My room is 210, in the middle, so if there is any problem with anyting, you can come to my room to find me. By the way, all the rooms on this floor are girls as the boys are on the third floor. Have fun!" With that, she turned to go downstairs.

I unlocked the door to my room, and saw a really awesome room. The room had a queen-sized bed at one corner of the room, with a dresser beside it. Wardrobes were pushed against the far end of the other side of the room, and a doorway leading to the bathroom was next to it. A desk was placed on the other side of the bed, together with a bookshelf. I went into the bathroom to check it out, and there was a bathtub in it! Everything looked fancier than a 5 star hotel room. I opened the wardrobe and found and saw some of the gear that the people were wearing when i first arrived, and a couple of combat boots too. I tried the boots on for size and they fit perfectly well. I was about to unpack my luggage when i heard a knock on the door. "Come in" i said, thinking that it was Zoe, but it wasn't her.

"Hey! I heard someone coming into this room and i came over to see who it was." A girl with fiery red hair and blue eyes said. "Oh, and im Selkie by the way." "Im Makayla" "so...how do you find this place?" "Its pretty awesome so far, but im not so sure about training here. It all seems so...professional." "Well, i dont even think i can make it through this entire school year." I decided that i like her at that moment. "Do you want to come in? Its kind of awkward standing in the hallway." "Sure." I sat around in my room, talking about random stuff.

Suddenly we heard zoe shouting out in the hallway. "Girls! Please come out of your rooms. We need to go for an assembly in the school."
