Ok guys.... This is really surprising but i was messing around on wattpad and i saw the stats of the readers of this book, and i must say im really surprised. Colored areas in the photo above is the stats on where my readers came from:) also, thanks for supporting this book!!!
"Hi! So I'm you're teacher for this subject on runelogy, and I'm Clary Herondale. I don't mind if you call me by my name as formality doesn't suits me." Our runelogy teacher said with a flourishing smile. She had red flaming hair and green eyes.
"Where do we sit?" A boy, Jack i think, asked. "Oh, i guess you can sit anywhere you like, as long as its in this class." The humour was not lost on us as a few of us snickered.
Me, Selkie, Cole and Cam sat together somewhere in the middle, since we didn't want to sit in the front row, which is too near, nor too far behind, where we wouldn't see anything.
"So, do any of you know what this lesson is about?" Clary asked after everyone settled down.
"Is it about teaching us on how to draw runes?" Someone at the back asked.
"Something like that. You will learn how to draw runes, learn their purposes and be able to apply them to real life situations. Now, I have a piece of good and bad news. Which one do you want to hear first?"
"Bad."
"Well, this subject is graded and you will be having a test at the end of every 3 months. As for the good news, i have arranged such that you guys will be able to go to pick and buy your very own steles for this two periods." There was silence in the class for a few seconds before everyone started cheering.
"Oh my god is she for real?"
"Hashtag best teacher of the year!"
"No best teacher in the world!!!"
"Also, all expenses will be covered by your school so you don't have to worry about paying for it. I was told that i shouldn't allow you guys to use the portal rune yet since it turned out pretty bad, so i guess we have to walk to the shop. However, the shop is only five minutes away, so we will still have a lot of time to pick your steles."
And with that, we began on a long journey to the shop. *inserts sad face here*
By the time we got there, i think was practically panting like a dog, and sweat was sticking to my shirt. But maybe that was due to the weather in Idris and the uniform i had on.
"Well, here we are." We stepped into the shop, Silver Steles. And wow, they sure have a huge variety of steles there. All the steles were silver in color, though with varying shades of it. Just to name a few, there was dull silver, and the kind that sparkle every time light shines on them. You name it, they have it. And then there was of course the thickness and the length of the stele.
"Okay class, walk around and see which steles fit you the best, then make your way to the check out counter. We'll meet back outside the entrance of the shop at 9.50."
Selkie instantaneously dragged me off to see the sparkly steles. "Oh my, look at these! They're soooo nice!"
"Are you getting one of these?"
"Yup. Definitely."
"Then i look around first. When you're done, you can come and look for me." I dashed off without waiting for her reply.
I was walking down the aisle full of Roman Silver steles on display when i saw one that caught my attention. Yeah sure, all of the steles have runes etched on them and i practically don't understand their functions, but the one that i had my eyes on was the Roman silver one, with a fire symbol in the middle of it. I walked over and picked it up. It fitted perfectly into my hand. "I guess im taking this."
