So in the previous A/N i mentioned that i didnt know if i should continue, and BloodyInspiredNewt and Winterlee8000 commentedthat i should continue, so here i am, writing this new chapter. Im sorry if the story is really dull or anything so far. And im sorry if its not engaging bc im not a really good writer.
And im sorry for the long update! I have something call school and tests, and i dont have internet at home occassionally:(

After the orientation night, which was pretty interesting, me and Selkie made our way back to the house. "We should give a name for it or something." "How about the best kind of house i have ever stayed in?" I laughed, thinking about it. That statement was pretty true, as i had been really comfortable in it. "Thats too long, but very true. What about stonehenge?" "Is that what i think it is?" "Oh my god, you actually know that song?" "Yeah. The one by Ylvis." "I must say you have a good taste in music." "You too." "Want to exchange playlist?" "Sure." I took my phone out of my pocket and turned it on, as i had switched it off when i was in the auditorium. I realized that i had a few missed calls and messages from Dad. I frowned, motioning to Selkie to be quiet by putting my finger on my lips. I called my dad, and after a few seconds of the phone ringing, he finally pick up.

"Hey dad."
"Hi honey, how's your new school? I heard from your mom. And you better not scare me like that again. I tried calling you several times but i couldn't get through. Did you know that i almost wanted to call the police?"

I chuckled at his sense of humor because i knew that he wouldn't do that unless i went missing for at least one day.

"Don't you dare to laugh young lady."
"Sorry dad, its just that its weird to hear you threaten me by calling the police since you had a bad fallout with them."
My dad use to be a policeman until he got accused of accepting bribes and allowing a prisoner to escape, but that was a misunderstanding. However, dad got really pissed off by it, so he quitted the force and no longer wanted to have anything to do with the police unless it was an emergency.

"Oh yeah, how is mom's headache? Before i left she started having this massive headache."
"She's fine now, although she said that it started subsiding when you left. So what did you do in school today?"
"Nothing much, we had an intro speech by the principal. Oh, there are like 30 students in my batch, and all of us are staying in this house that me and Selkie decided to call it 'Stonehenge'. You know, that song by Ylvis." I saw Selkie glancing at me from the corner of my eye, probably wondering why i mentioend my name.
"Selkie?"
"Oh, she's my new friend and her room is beside mine."
We just reach Stonehenge, when i asked," dad, do you think im special?"
"Of course y--"
"No i mean like, do you think that maybe im not entirely human? According to Selkie, she said that one of the main criteria to study in this school is that you have to be a shadowhunter, which is half angel and half human. But i don't see how i am a shadowhunter."
"Hmm... I don't really know, maybe you were switched at birth but then again, i have no clue about your new school."
"Dad!" I groaned. Something he was such a jokester.
"Ok ok, im just joking. But whatever that happens, do know that you will always be my daughter and i will always love you, no matter how cheesy it sounds, kay?"
"Okay dad, whatever you say."
