Sorry for the long update, i had bad writers block:(
I finally remembered to get back my documents from Selkie's room after God knows how long. But then, since I was rushing to go for that tour, I only had enough time to go back to my room(I still have to unlock it!) before heading down to the foyer. And the weird thing was that throughout the entire trip, as Mrs Dean joined on the trip, she was just staring at my back the entire time. Literally. Her stare felt like she was going to burn two holes through my shirt and once, when I caught her staring, she immediately looked away, as if she was caught doing something bad. Maybe she did know that staring excessively at someone is an invasion of privacy.
The tour was impressive (not!), especially when Zoe explained the history behind certain places. Okay that was just my sarcasm talking. The truth was that I fell asleep during the tour while walking. I was pretty amazed by that. I think its my talent, to walk and sleep at the same time. I kinda felt bad about not being attentive but I was really tired.
By the time we were back from the tour, it was around 9 in the night and I was finally able to take a look at the document.

Mother's name: Emily GreenWait...my mom's name isn't Emily Green. Its Riley Johnson. I mean, deep down i knew that my mom wasn't my biological mother, but this is too sudden. Maybe they made a mistake. That must be it. Just a mistake. They probably messed up my data with someone else's. But what if its not? Stop thinking about it, Makayla, I scolded myself. And then my door burst open. 'Kayla! The boys are playing truth or dare upstairs, do you want to join?' Selkie barged in. 'Sure' why not? Anything to get my mind off that report thingy.
