Harper woke up in an unusually good mood, a week had passed since her date with Jake and although it was awkward to begin with things started to get better between them. Her and Aaron had started calling and texting again and she really thought that they would go on a date soon.
Aaron explained that he had an amazing opportunity came up and that he couldn't miss it, he showed Harper the photos and she had to admit he looked good. He apologised for not replying to her but he misplaced his phone.
Harper wasn't so sure if she believed the part about the phone but she didn't mind she was glad to be able to talk to him again.
When Harper told Amy about the date between her and Jake, Amy couldn't understand why it didn't work out, Anyone could see that they had liked each other. But Amy didn't want to push it and hurt Harper's feelings so she dropped it secretly hoping it would be revealed one day.
"Hey you guys see the dude I brought in today the drug dealer? 81 years old I think it's the oldest collar of my entire career." Jake boasted to Amy, Rosa and Harper.
"I once arrested a 96 year old for flashing" Amy had the upper hand. "I was terrified he'd die on my back seat... or flash me"
"My oldest collar was 78, but the PCP made her fight like she was 20" Rosa shared her story.
Harper wasn't really sure what she had just walked in on so she didn't add anything.
"What about two 50 year old twins does that count as a 100 year old?" Scully asked
They all said no.
"You talking oldest bags? 68" Boyle said as he sat down in an extremely confident tone.
Harper realised that Boyle wasn't talking about arrests like the rest of the detectives.
"That's not that old"
"Yeah but I was only 20"
Harper suppressed her laugh because she wanted to see how long it would be until everyone else realised.
"20? We're you even a cop then?" Jake asked very confused.
"No man it happens before I got into the academy" Boyle was still bragging where he shouldn't be.
"Charles isn't talking about his oldest arrest" Harper started laughing as Rosa finally realised. They all looked at her.
