"C'mon just get ready and meet her there."
"What if she's a serial killer?" Cheryl asked and her friends laughed
"We know people who know her and I don't think they would be friends with a serial killer." Emma said
"I mean you never know-"
"Oh my God, just go put on some clothes, nice clothes."
Two weeks earlier
It was another day of Cheryl hanging out with her friends who were all in relationships. They would display their affection all the time and Cheryl said it didn't bother her but her friends didn't believe that.
"Cheryl, I feel bad cause I am basically fucking my girlfriend right here and you are just watching tv"
"Download a dating app, please" Emma said
Cheryl shrugged, "I don't want a relationship."
"Cheryl we know what you're doing. You feel like you're going to get hurt again, but not everyone is like her" Her other friend chimed in
"I just don't want to deal with that shit again, It's not about her, I'm fine." Cheryl said and everyone nodded their heads
Even though they acted like they understood what she was saying, they still managed to set her up on a blind date, which Cheryl was getting ready to go now.
"This is just going to be a waste of my time." Cheryl said
"Well at least it's going to give you opportunity to talk to someone who isn't us." Cassidy said with a laugh
Once Cheryl was fully dressed, all of her friends hyped her up on the way to the door.
"You clean up nice, Cheryl"
"You look fucking amazing"
Cheryl smiled, "What was the name of the restaurant I'm meeting her at again?"
"88 Reina." Cassidy said and Cheryl nodded
"Oh and her name?"
"Toni Topaz."
Cheryl nodded, "88 Reina and Toni, got it".
She drove to the restaurant and listened to music because she read one time in a book that listening music calms your nerves. She arrived at the restaurant twenty minutes earlier than the time they were supposed to meet, she liked to be earlier than late and it gave her time to prepare. Now she was just waiting for Toni Topaz to show up, but then she realised she had no idea what this woman looked liked so that worried her even more.
"Toni, hurry up or you're going to be late." Her friend yelled
"I don't even want to do this, you guys are forcing me to do this" Toni yelled back
"Well sometimes people need to be forced to do things" Paige said and Tonil rolled her eyes
Toni's friends set her up on a blind date because they were tired of her having one night stands, they wanted her to find love.
"Cheryl is a cool person as far as I know, so I hope you have fun" Paige said before kissing Toni's cheek
"I hate you for this"
"When the two of you get married you'll be thanking me"
Toni drove to the restaurant she was supposed to meet Cheryl at. When she got out of the car there was a woman walking out of the building at the same time she was walking inside and they accidentally bumped into each other.
