Toni came home to her wife and two kids playing with toys in their living room.
"So this is what goes on when I'm not home" She said as she walked towards them
"Mom" The toddler children yelled as she ran and met Toni halfway
The woman and her kid greeted each other with a few kisses. When they pulled back Toni walked over to her wife and picked up their youngest child out of her hands without saying a word to her.
"Hey, I missed you" Toni said to their son as she kissed his face
Cheryl recently had an affair and they're figuring everything out. Cheryl tries her best to get Toni to say more than a few words to her but she never succeeds.
"Why are you home so early?" Cheryl asked
Toni ignored her and continued playing with their kids.
"The kids we're really good today" She added trying to start conversation
"Were you guys good for mommy today?" Toni asked her kids and their daughter nodded
"Go play with your toys and I'll make you a snack after I take shower, okay?" Toni said and their daughter walked her brother back to where they were playing with toys
Toni walked into guest room she was saying in since she found about the affair. Cheryl followed her in.
"Um, how was work?" Cheryl asked
"What do you want, Cheryl?" Toni said calmly
"I want to know how work was"
Toni sighed before raising her voice, which didn't even make Cheryl jump because she's used to it by now.
"Cut the bullshit and tell me why you're in here right now"
"I want you to talk to me"
"Isn't that what were doing now?" Toni started taking off her work clothes and grabbed a towel
She started walking to the bathroom and Cheryl followed her there as well.
"I want us to talk like we did before"
"Before you had affair with your boss?"
Cheryl shook her head in shame, "Yes, and I'm sorry. If there was a way I could make it up to you I would"
"I've heard enough of your apologies, Cheryl" Toni said before walking into the bathroom
She was about to close the door but Cheryl pushed it open
"What do you want from me then?" Cheryl yelled
"I don't fucking know, but right now I want you to leave me alone" Toni matched her energy
"Who knows maybe a divorce is what needs to happen next" Toni added and Cheryl gasped
"No."
"No?"
"We're not getting a divorce" Cheryl clarified
Toni laughed before she stripped naked and turned the shower on. Cheryl's eyes explored every part of her wife's body.
"I'm serious. We're going to work this out"
"What if I don't want to Cheryl? What if I want to leave you and we can come up with arranagement to the kids and we start seeing other people because you clearly want to do that." Toni ranted
"I don't want that, I want to be with you. She was a mistake" Cheryl said as tears began to fall down her face
"You don't mistakenly bend over a desk for someone and let them fuck you. That's not how it works"
