In this story Kai, didn't died in Legacies, he cast a illusion spell on a random person and left Mystic Falls.
To the context for the story, in 2013, when Kai escapes the Prison World and do all those horrible things at Alaric and Jo's wedding, he also did a spell to make Bonnie pregnant with his children. To make more sense, Kai was already trying to be a better person - after the merge with Luke - but when Bonnie left him behind in 1903 Prison World, he just wanted revenge and the chance to someone really love him and that kid was his second chance, but he died and never got the chance to met the kid. The reason he was always trying to get beck to life was to meet his child. And maybe now he can.
The story starts in January of 2029, but will have flashes from Beattrice past.
A/N: Guys, I am from Brazil, but I am fluent in English. I am obsessed with TVDU, so wen I had the idea for this history I went write down at the same time. So since I watched The Vampire Diaries, The Original and Legacies in English, I couldn't imagine them talking in another language.
