- Baby, wake up - I heard grandma say, as she shake me lightly - Your fone is ringing, I can't turn it off.
- Sorry - I said getting up and turning the alarm off.
It was 3:05pm, and I needed to get up and get ready for my tea with Kai. I am so excited, finally talk with him, no Bonnie, no vodka and tonic, just us, talking. Despite being so exited I actually don't know what to expect.
Well, my options of clothes were very limited, so I thought maybe Caroline would borrow me a nice outfit. So I went into the end of the corridor, last room was Caroline's. I knocked on the door, and a few seconds later the door opened. Caroline stood there with her big smile.
- I need a nice outfit - I said going into the room.
- For what? Hmm don't tell me, you already have another date with that barmen? - She asked with a smirk closing the door.- No, I am going to have a tea with Kai - I said a little ashamed, I know what Kai did, but with me he is different, I can't explain.
- Oh, with Kai, that's ok, a little bit soon, but ok - She said going into her suit case by the small closet.
- I know what all of you think about him, but when I touched him earlier, I was more focused on not burning my room so I couldn't see everything, just like I saw with you, but I felt, deep inside me, he doesn't want to hurt me, and not even want to take me away from grandma, he knows that he need to do the right thing with me - I explained to her, it wasn't easy, and I could feel a few tears trying to get out, but I wouldn't let them.
- Hey Bea, it's fine, yesterday we talked to him, and when he started to feel something, when he wasn't a sociopath anymore years ago we should just helped him to go away, but instead we betrayed him and that is what make him want revenge, today we realize that we did the wrong thing - She told me, and I needed to hear that, the prove that Kai, could be a good person, or at least a version of that. I just gave blondie a smile - So, pick your choice, my suit case, your suit case - She finished with a smile and went back to the room.
I was going trough the suit very careful, for not make a mess there. About a half an hour late and I had my pick. I thanked blondie for the outfit and the talk and went back to my room.
I walked in and Abby was working in something in her notebook, I gave her a quick smile and went to the bathroom to start to dress up. I took a quick shower, washed my hair and got out. Inside the things that grandma gave me it had a few things of make up, again, not too much.
I made a eyeliner, and putted some mascara, not too much. Glad that grandma remember to pick a few things for my hair. A few minutes later my hair was drying in the towel, and the last thing left was my clothes.
Well, blondie is relatively old, but her stile is very good. I chose a red skirt, a simple black shirt, a black leather jacket and a high velvet boot. I looked at my fone and was 4:05pm, ok five minutes late, that's fine. I said bye to grandma and went out.
As I walked out of the hotel, Kai was standing outside, leaning in his car, and what a car, it was Mercedes Benz G6, god that was such an a incredible car, I was so shocked.
- What a car! - I said going to the car and Kai opened the door for me.
- Just the best for my little girl, well not so little - He said, and in the last part I could feel a little bit of disappointment, I believed that was because he wasn't around to see me grow up.
He walked around the car and got into the driver's seat. I was so hypnotized by the inside of the car, that I barely heard Kai asked where he should go.
- So, where are we going for this tea? - Now, I heard ok.
- Hm, remember the alley we were yesterday? - I asked and he nodded - It has a great tea and coffee shop there, it's awesome, you are gonna love it - I said and he started the car.
