They ran. They ran as fast as their legs could carry them.

Tommy, Hannah, Jack, and Foolish were all missing from their cabins.

Once they were out of sight from the cabins, Sam rushed ahead on waves.

  He was horrified.

"Hannah!" He exclaimed, falling to his knees next to a nearly dead girl, ice spikes puncturing her limbs. She was breathing, her chest heaving up and down. Blood stained the grass underneath her, dripping every few seconds from her ever hanging body.

Sam's hands shook, too scared to move to touch his daughter.

Phil and Puffy stopped in their tracks upon the scene.

Puffy's eyes landed on Jack's body. Shakily, she took a few steps back.

Phil pushed past and landed on his knees next to Sam. He gently placed his hands against the ice. "This shouldn't kill her, it shouldn't."

Sam pulled Phil's hands from the ice. "If you remove the ice she'll bleed out." He dropped his head. "I don't think we can save her."

Phil watched Sam with his jaw dropped and his eyes glassy. He had never seen the prison guard so defeated.

Puffy took a step forward. "I can send her into sleep to ease the pain, Sam."

Puffy's power was the ability to control different hormone levels. It was what made her such a favored social worker.

"Please. Then we need to keep going." Sam glanced around. "I'm afraid Tommy ended up like the others."

"He's okay."

They all glanced up at the voice, Phil relaxing at the sight of Karl. He had met the boy a few times from Sapnap and George coming over a few times to keep Tommy company during his a coma.

"For now at least." Karl took a step back, angling his body sideways as he pointed behind him. "Everyone's in the clearing. We need to be quick. I'm not sure if Tommy will make it."

Puffy moved between Sam and Phil and placed a hand on Hannah's head. Slowly, the girl's eradicated breathing slowed. They watched as it slowly came to a stop.

"We'll have a proper funeral for Hannah and Jack once this whole thing is over." Puffy looked up at Karl. "Is Foolish there, too?"

"I'm not sure. I haven't seen him." Karl admitted. "I haven't seen him in any of the timelines I've helped shape. I think he might've cowered off after watching some of his closest friends die."

Sam nodded. "He's a kid. I can't blame him." He stood. "Let's go. We don't know how much time we have left."

When they reached the field, Phil felt his whole world stop. He found Tommy right away, trying his best to evade all of Dream's attacks. There was fear in his eyes, his teeth clenched hard against each other as he fought.

He let this happen. He let this all happen. If only he had been a better father to his two real boys, this would have never happened. He was trying to focus on Tommy now, but he felt as if he had done bad. What if he couldn't raise Tommy to be better than his own boys?

Phil shook his head and passed by the many fights going on and raced to his only lasting boy. He had to protect him, he had to. If he didn't, he fail all together as a father.

Jumping, his knee inched it's way into Dream's face. The mask flew and Dream fell to the ground below Phil.

"Phil." Tommy called, relief spread about his face.

A smile spread across Phil's face as he met Tommy's. Just a few scrapes, but his boy was okay.

On the other end of the field, the rest of the kids came in. Quackity, Niki, etc.

Fear spread across Quackity's face as he met Schlatt's eyes. It couldn't have been him. No. He didn't know what he was thinking that maybe Schlatt wouldn't be here, the boy was insane!

Quackity let out a choked gasp as ice picked him up by his limbs, and he felt lucky he wasn't being impaled.

Schlatt let out a huff as he approached the boy. "I've been waiting for this day. I've been wanting to kill you for so long."

As an ice spike came rising out of the ground for Quackity's abdomen, a body jumped on top of him, and suddenly he wasn't surrounded by ice in the air.

Looking over, he realized it was Ranboo who had saved his life. But realization hit him quick. His head snapped to the ice, and he felt his heart drop.

Schlatt was dead. He had impaled himself with his own ice thanks to Ranboo.

Ranboo's hand flew over his mouth, and sat down. "I-I'm sorry." He huffed out softly. "I didn't—I didn't mean to—"

Quackity pulled the younger boy into a hug. "It's okay. It's okay."

Tommy stepped away as Phil took on Dream. He felt his strength again and again, like Tubbo was just behind him.

"Tommy!"

He was behind him.

Tommy turned around, eyes widening with tears flushing down his cheeks. It was Tubbo. He was in front of him, standing in the doorway of the funky looking shed. His brunet best friend who stuck himself to their ceiling with pots and pans and talks to bees as if they were human beings.

Tommy took off in a sprint, Tubbo following suite. They rushed to each in a quick motion, and when their bodies met in a hug, it was like a firework went off.

Within a few seconds, a thunderstorm formed above the field, and trees upon trees began to grow at quick speed around them. The air trickled with a push.

In the moment, Dream was apprehended, Technoblade was no where to be seen, and Schlatt lay dead in his own ice.

  This was it. They won.

Karl turned to Sapnap and George, a smile spreading across his face. "I did it."

Sapnap pulled him into a hug. "You did it, babe. Tommy's alive."

Phil looked to his son with a smile on his face. He did it. The boy was okay.

And Tommy, Tommy pulled away from Tubbo. His lips pulled up into a smile as he held onto the smaller boy's arms. He did it. He found Tubbo.

"You know, Tubbo." Tommy started. "We could be heroes, big man."

Tubbo giggled. "I don't know about that, but I'll take your word for it."
