Daniel and Rosalía dance along to the music with everyone. Kumiko taught them the choreography and the girl got it quickly. Daniel, on the other hand, forgets some steps so the little girl he rescued helps him out. Everyone bows when the song comes to an end and applauds. Daniel bends down to talk to the little girl. "You know, if it wasn't for you, I'd be making a lot of mistakes," he says. "If not for you, I not be here," she returns. "Oh," Daniel chuckles before hugging her. Rosalía fondly smiles, loving how sweet he is with kids. The little girl looks at her next and hugs her as well, surprising her.

"Thank you for helping me," she voices. Rosalía smiles down at her. "Oh, of course!" she returns. I didn't do much but it's nice to be appreciated, she thinks. The little girl saunters off and Daniel walks up to his girlfriend. "Ugh, she's the cutest," she comments. "Yeah. How do you do it? Every kid you meet instantly loves you," the boy responds. Rosalía cackles at this. "I don't know, they just do! They seem to like you too. I mean, first my sister and now this girl. What is it about you, Mr. LaRusso?"

Daniel chuckles and grabs her hands. He just studies her for a moment before speaking up. "Listen, did I tell you you look beautiful?" he suddenly asks. "No," the girl quickly replies. Her boyfriend smiles adoringly at her. "Well, you do," he tells her. Rosalía's heart pounds and she can feel the heat rising to her face. "Thank you. So do you," she returns the compliment. "I'm sorry, what was that? I couldn't hear you. Can you repeat that?" Daniel says, pretending he couldn't hear her. "Shut up," the girl giggles, shoving him. The boy laughs too and Rosalía walks up to Kumiko.

"Hey, girl! You're gonna do great, I'm so excited for you!" she chirps. Kumiko chuckles at this. "I think I'm scared," she informs. "You have nothing to be scared of. I've seen you do it, you're so talented!" Rosalía encourages her. Kumiko slightly shakes her head. "You are! You're gonna be amazing, and I'm gonna support you from over there," Rosalía claims, pointing in the direction of her seat. Kumiko chuckles and the couple walks to their seats beside Mr. Miyagi.

"I've seen her practice. I have such a talented friend," Rosalía excitedly tells the older man when she and Daniel sit down. They both chuckle at her enthusiasm and turn to watch Kumiko. She commences her choreography, grabbing her fan and gracefully moving her arm to the side, flicking the fan open. She continues her dance and looks at Rosalía when she passes the fan over her face. Rosalía nods and smiles at her enthusiastically, letting her know that she's doing fantastic. She enjoys her performance until she notices movement in the background. She peers behind Kumiko and gasps when she spots Chozen swinging in.

"Behind you!" Daniel abruptly yells as Rosalía shoots up. Kumiko looks puzzled and she turns around,  seeing Chozen. She tries to get away but he's quick to grab her. A few people, including the trio, Sato, and Yukie stand up and try to approach them. "Kumiko!" Yukie shouts as they step onto the bridge. Chozen pulls out a knife and yells, "get back!" Everyone backs up, afraid of him hurting someone. "Get back or I kill her!" he yells, holding the blade to Kumiko's neck.

"Chozen!" Sato shouts. "Don't do this. I was wrong. Hate is wrong. It's over," he tries to reason with his nephew. Rosalía watches in horror as Kumiko whimpers, knowing she must be so scared. "I cannot hear you, Uncle. I am dead to you, remember? Huh?" Chozen spits. Rosalía wants to say something so bad but is afraid of pissing him off and leading him to hurt her friend. "Chozen, you are your uncle's finest student. No disgrace him here," Mr. Miyagi chimes in. "Your student disgrace me. I have been dishonored all because of him," Chozen retorts. Of course he blames Daniel, the girl thinks. His eyes land on her and he suddenly shouts, "you! Come here!"
